FYI: the Thunderbox can also been used without a live wire. If the Thunderbox measure a high voltage, so when the alternator is running, it will switch the accesoires on.
Paul be careful, I installed a camera had a problem with battery and bmw didn’t wont to honor it as I had installed it myself and they said it was my fault the battery had failed ! Eventually they did replace the battery as it was defective , took a long time and lots of arguments! . Same bike as yours 23 model 👍💪🏼 good vids keep ‘em coming 👍
Thanks, but there is no option to tap into a switched live, like I say do it at your own peril. Thanks for commenting as more info is power to the people, who may or may not decide to tap into a switched live. Hex ezcan or CANsmart are other options.

Yes thats correct but when the engine is switched off the screen goes off , I didn't want that but yes there are power options. 👍

I use a Y splitter from AliExpress and put it between the GPS connector. I use this as my live wire.
As an aside, do you think the BMW extended warranty is worth it? Best!
TBH not sure .....I will sit down and have a chat over a coffee with my super friendly BMW dealer.
