@@haris1403 I'm the opposite. The long ass cooldown makes the item just for initiating on enemies, instead of just getting around the map quickly. The drop down option removed after taking damage is just a higher skill ceiling.
@MM-vs2et well yea sure you have to use it smarter but there are already so many counters to it with flying characters being meta right now, they didn't even nerf it because of pocket but because of warden

Ive been messing with extra health a lot now, since pocket has one of the lower HPs its a higher percent increase then on other heroes. Late game, fortitude + pristine emblem lets you do alright burst weapon damage if your 3rd maxxed out ability is cloak. Its kinda scuffed but if the game is long enough its an alright way to get an enemy low enough to burst them with spirit. Fortitude also makes it so you never need to back and have way more map presence with majestic leap. Leech has also been kinda fire, they swapped the +spirit to cooldown reduction so its just another way to spam abilities. The sustain in fights is alright on pocket too, id only buy it super late game tho. Diviner’s is still king.
@@Theoretic101 They're still trying to feel out the power levels of each character and he kit has a lot of inherent strengths so he may be even a bit undertuned numbers wise atm but definitely still strong
Could you write some of these things on the items in your build? That would make it so helpful to remember cause my silly ass just kinda buys things in order like a fool and I really like community builds where they write things on certain items to let you know like "Hey only buy this if you're solo lane" or put silver reload on this ability etc etc This is a really good video though you explain things well I actually just realized I used to use your build from the community tab but cause I never watched a video on pocket I feel like I wasn't buying things properly and most players don't watch videos unfortunately and continue to not do well cause of it that's why I like the feature where you can make notes on certain items 🙃
won't improved burst be useless most of the time when your abilities do barely over 200 damage? usually most people have some sort of spirit resist so it won't go off
@@milansvancara they changed burst after i made this comment. now it procs after 185 dmg (instead of 200), and ignores resistances, so as long as the skill card says 185 dmg it procs. burst is really good on pocket again.
Hey Eido, can you talk a bit about why cold front instead of slowing hex and if there's ever situation where you swap the cold front for a slowing hex? I find that vs shiv, infernus etc slowing hex completely fucks them, whereas cold front doesn't disable their abilities so it fucks them less

I guess the real answer is, what do you need in the given game. Do you die because suitcase is just about to come off cooldown? Put it on there. Do you die because you can't cloak out in time, or can't follow because of cd? Put it on there. Do you for some reason need barrage more often? Put it on there. Do fights go long enough and do you survive long enough to get two ults off? Put it on there. This is not rocket science, just learn it for yourself. In the beginning you will make bad choices but in the end you will become a better player through it.
the ult, this will allow you to pop diviners more often and proc affliction in your combo more often too. proccing your ult is usually enough to end fights instantly. it's worth it.
I'm not sure about improved burst. They improved % damage but also increased threshold to trigger this damage. To reach 200 threshold consistently you most likely need something like Improved spirit, otherwise it's difficult to trigger it
Pocket's t2 satchel and jacket upgrades put him over the 200dmg threshold and most builds will get those fairly early into the mid game. If you don't build those ability upgrades you can just get 28 spirit power, which you can get with IB + 2 t1 purples + 1 t2 purple
@@ArkbladeIX deathy checked that recently, with normal purple items that you expect from t2-t3 without improved spirit pocket's cloak or case couldn't pass threshold on heroes that have around 10-15 spirit resist

No, since there’s no duration it silences you while she has line of sight. You would be better off using warp stone or extra stamina to get away from her or behind cover. It has a 30m range and warp stone will do half that distance.
im a pocket main myself, i preffer improved stam voer majestic leap now, while i pretty much buy etheraly shift 90% of the time so i wolud concider it core. besides that the build feels very good

I play an ult centered build with Improved Cooldown, Improved Reach, Improved Burst, Escalating Exposure, Diviners Kevlar and most importantly Mystic Reverb, all on ult. This will make you ult kill people and it's extremely funny as no one expects it.
@@deusvult333 mystic reverb works on ult, but escalating expose doesnt. Just checked in the sandbox. I think this entire build is just countered by debuff remover no? What rank are you in? Edit: i checked, while reverb does proc it also cant kill on pocket ult either.

Yup, i read somewhere that some1 tested it snd it trigers if its done 200dmg after the reduction
i thought it too, but apparently eventho i wasnt like minmaxing barrage, i've still done shitton of damage with it

pockets abilities dont scale off of spirit SUPER well. that doesnt mean its bad, theres just other high prio items.

If you get destroyed by flying heroes and no one buys knockdown, then obviously buying knockdown is better than soft inting the game.
Glyph is a more versatile disable but vs vindicta or talon I don't think knockdown is a bad alternative

Barrage doesn't help proc Improved Burst. It counts as a separate damage source, despite what the description says.
