You can tell how much effort Dr. Murphy put into his expression. My brother has ASD and It’s really difficult for him to express his emotions. The way he maintains eye contact with Lea shows that he loves her but that’s she broken his trust and now he feels nothing but negative feelings towards her.

You can tell how much effort Dr. Murphy put into his expression. My brother has ASD and It’s really difficult for him to express his emotions. The way he maintains eye contact with Lea shows that he loves her but that’s she broken his trust and now he feels nothing but negative feelings towards her.
As someone with ASD, I approve of this.
Emotions for me have always been difficult, the only easy one is anger.

Thinking a lot about what you are going to say is part of the lack of tone.
When you remove all those filters you add to protect yourself and ensure you say the right thing, you sound more genuine.
