man that is so cool that you wait for Jon. You are teaching these guys friendship loyalty. I am Veteran also retired Navy you guys are so cool to watch.
CONGRATULATIONS SARAH!!!!!!!! You were awesome out there. You must be so proud of your wife. More Sarah in your videos please. Maybe it will turn my wife to fishing. Thanks for the video Rob.
YES! Hook-set at 8:19 was EPIC! Left foot in the air like he was winding up to pitch a baseball! Love a good hookset, that is the angle you never get with the chesty.
awesome you took your wife fishing with you been watching your channel for awhile just made it better. cant wait till your daughter is old enough to start.
I'd love to see a video about how you find fish so successfully, jumping from lake to lake all the time. From the beginning stages of research to the final stage of landing fish. That would be awesome!
Hey Rob, I know you said you don't like to teach too much but talk about a teachable moment for Sarah AND the new guys getting into fishing, at 10:44 - 10:51 Sarah was holding the rod way up to the first eyelet. I Sure would have hated to see her lose a fish like that because her rod broke. Especially since the lure popped right out. Not criticizing just thought you would like to know. Congrats Sarah. Great Fish!!! Especially with how cold you were. Rob, Justin called and would like his lure back... lol
Rob got any tips to help distinguish a bite from hitting structure when fishing bottom baits? I'm mostly a power fisherman and only use lures with a constant retrieve but I bought some worms and jigs and other bottom baits I want to try out
use braid, very sensitive. Over time you will be able to distinguish what structure & bites feel like. I try to find a shallow area with structure and I run my bait into it so I can get an idea what it feels like.
Nice video 👍👌. Good to see you and your wife having some alone time. I'm going fishing tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully I catch something but it depends if the ice is gone.
you've caught more fish in this video than I have ever caught over a 6 month period. Given I don't have a boat either. My PB is only a 2 pounder. But with watching all these videos you helped me get an idea of what to do rather than just hope something bites.
I just watched the eagle mountain video too. what was the temperature difference between the two? you had 68 degrees there but you never mentioned the temperature in the other video.
was that the 7'11 sniper rod you were throwing that shaky head on? I got one for Christmas but I have a jig set up on mine. just wondering if the 7'11 works with shaky heads too?? great video
Hey Rob have u ever used a silver buddy bait if not google it it's the best winter time bass and walleye fishing bait ever besides a KVD spinnerbaits the silver buddy is a must that bait really is the winter bass fishing bait alot of us us in West By God Virginia. Lol
Rob you mentioned Sarah's reel had 20 lb. braid with a 15 lb. florocarbon leader when she was fishing that worm. What was the advantage of that?. I have always fished a larger leader than the actual line.
Fluorocarbon is nearly invisible, very strong & sensitive. The braid/ leader system is very versatile, allowing you to fish any situation & lure by using leaders. You get the advantage of both lines. Braid is strong, super sensitive and has no stretch. The fluorocarbon has a little stretch so it counters the braid no stretch and you wont pull lures out the fish mouth on hook sets.
Rob you should teach your wife on how to use a baitcaster, give her more opportunity on using different baits and bigger fish. my wife learned how to use one and on the same day caught a 3lb spot. all she uses now is casting reels and rods
I miss bass fishing so much. The closest thing i have here is pike. Bass arent exactly a common species on this side of the tracks, and in my province, to my knowledge, theres none!
No Africa videos until we figure out what's going on with jons footage. I have the videos done just waiting so I don't ruin any surprises.

Rob you mentioned Sarah's reel had 20 lb. braid with a 15 lb. florocarbon leader when she was fishing that worm. What was the advantage of that?. I have always fished a larger leader than the actual line.
matthew wetmore fluorocarbon better for finesse fishing because it is super light and you can work it easily
MN Outdoorsman oh ok ok. I never realized that but it makes total sense. Thank you
Fluorocarbon is nearly invisible, very strong & sensitive.
Wish I was doing that but I can't complain I was pulling walleye out of the ice today
I like the song that plays at the end
