My absolute favorite thing about brook trout is if they like the fly they won't hesitate!

Agreed, but brookies are some of the best eating fish on this planet in my opinion. I'll take a a nice eater 15 incher.. when I have a chance.

I live in the Adirondacks,a good brook trout is 14 inches. My best is 18 inches. I may never beat that. Its March 15 in one month I'll be fishing. Its all I'm really thinking about right now.

Dan, same for where we live, my biggest is 16 inches. However, it is all relative and I love fishing for those small trout with a 3-4 weight rod. That is why Labrador is such a surreal place and a destination every trout angler should aspire to visit. thanks

When you say poppers do mean popping bugs that we use down south for bluegill bream and bass?

Well you answered my question, brook trout on a popping bug. I like it.

Holding a fish at arms length out in front of you always makes them look bigger doesn't it?

The tip at the end about presentation is accurate, but don't mislead people here into believing you were actually doing such a thing in this video.
That fishing spot you're in here is anything but technical, and those fish are anything but picky.
They're all fat, hasty, and greedy, exactly how I like them.
Your skills may exceed my own, but you didn't need them here, and that's why this is such an awesome video.
We all dream of reaching places like this, where all of your hard earned skills are a moot point, and you find your weak point is forearm stamina.
Imagine canada fishing with no international pressure for a year or two after the scamdemic. 🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hope you got a chuckle out of my ridiculous accusation.
    Stay cool man.
    T.

This dude is annoying as I’ve ever heard from any fisherman.
