Watching your videos is just plain fun. I enjoy the heck out of them, the only thing I see to add to them is make them just a little longer and a little more often. You just keep on keeping on and I will keep on watching on. Thanks so much.
well, I appreciate that sir! it is so funny with youtubers.. you would like them longer and I have other people telling me my videos are too long... I probably edited out a good ten minutes out of this video.. and the last one too.. just cant please everyone! haha..
Legal travel height out here in Noo Yawk is 13' 6". I hope those boys eyeballed it up before getting too far down the road - they look to be nudging it! ;) Awesome old rig - good to see it adopted.
I knew it looked fine going under the bridge when I followed you out.... I figured if you cleared that one, you'd be fine all the way lol... hey.. did you have to go on a ferry with that thing? or did you go over deception?
Ah, I hope some can Save the 0l' Chevy 1 ton truck. Its a 64-65-66 somewhere in there. I Hope so much they Don't get Crushed I don't have "Instagram" anymore so, I didn't know bout these trucks. You do'in your part on trying to save these great 0l' trucks, Ken. 1 thing I always liked on these 0l' Fords is; the cab alone looks so much like an 0l' "B" model Mack cab (just cab alone).
I have a 48 F7 That is a Marmon Herrigton AWD truck. The 337 Engine is rebuilt and has a Bendix-Westinghouse Air compressor also. Its a 5 speed to a 2 speed Auxillary to a 2 speed transfer case.
I couldn't believe these guys both work for a towing company and showed up with a comealong . but if you watch my video on "firetruck rescue" they came back with a much better setup haha..
@@1963impala2drWaylonWire first thing I bought when I got my trailer was a winch, course I do got ,4-5 hanging on the wall in the shop even one that uses a chain and I use it to pull motors and heavy things. Keep safe man.
@@freddiebates5539 yep, i have a winch too...for dragging dead things onto my trailer, I put it on a mount that slides into a stake pocket on the front.. works very well with a snatch block
We are clearing out my father in law's estate and among the 93 cars he hoarded we have found a '49 F1, two '50 F1's, a '49 F6, a '50 F6 with hydraulic dump bed, a '55 F100 and a '57 Chevy Viking car hauler. They all need good homes too!
actually everything went very well :) seems we mostly only have problems when "Brown" is involved..him and his gasoline haha.. good thing he's in Arkansas!
those guys have a very nice truck and trailer it seems to me they would invest in a winch for the trailer if they are going to be picking up vehicles very often.. that's not a bad old ford for it's age, I drove a V6 GMC back in the late 60's and it sure didn't have a lot of power in the dump truck I was hauling clay with, maybe it was just a bad one though.
Alright another save, yall are on the other side of the US of A or I'd like to check that 1 ton out ....I didn't read through the comments here but I wonder if classic truck rescue saw this episode 👍
((😳)) Lol . Why didn’t ya give the old pretty gall a hug Ken ? She kept flipping her hair throwing out all the signals waiting on one .. that will have made her day ! 🤗 Just Funnen .. but I do like to steel a hug from a pretty girl whenever I can 😂
I was starting to worry about you. Hadn't heard from you in awhile! I have one last measly debt to pay off, and then the wife and I are going to start saving for some land...so I can build a shop! And oh yea, we can build a house...and then I can build a wheat truck turned rat rod!
they should put a wench on that thing 390 sweet they should freshen that engine up put 360 pistons in it they r flat tops if needed valve re leafs I did one like that makes more power because 390 pistons r dished with a cam works nice
lol I've already got quite a herd on the go myself. fortunately my passport has expired. that will give me a couple month cooling off period to get a new one. I do have a project I started about 15 years ago that I need some parts for though. 63 d300 dodge shorty. onedrive.live.com/?cid=0E684DDBE15A7528&id=E684DDBE15A7528%21926&parId=E684DDBE15A7528%21890&o=OneUp I don't know if this link will work or not, but it's something to keep in mind. looks like I will be off work most of this winter so I wouldn't mind taking a trip south. I have an 18' car hauler with a winch on it.
WHY are there so many people that want to take classic vehicles and trash them by making rat rods out of them and such rather than restore them to their original classic beauty? They render them virtually worthless to anyone but the guy that spent all of that time and money ruining the thing. None of this makes a bit of sense to me.
if you dont "get" it, you probably never will. I can only speak for myself, but I would never molest a classic even in "fair" condition. I have survivors which I have saved and classics which I have restored. the the only things I have ever rat rodded were destined for the crusher. I hate to see that happen but sometimes they are in such disrepair that it is not worth restoring them. for instance, I made a rat rod from a 32 chevy pickup which was in pieces..the wood was all rotted away but I tackled it and made it a fun road worthy rig with modern steering and brakes. I could have spent 30 grand restoring it and had a truck worth 7 grand when it was finished which would go 35 mph and would be totally unsafe to drive anywhere other than in a parade. no thanks.
Xtinnoker oh cool! is it in a pickup?is it a 305? they are cool old engines arent they!? I had a 401 Magnum.. but thats a sad story.. I wont get into it. haha..
Yes it did come out of a truck, I believe it's a 292. My dad used to race a 52 chev with a gmc 6, He talks of racing through the tubes in Seattle (I 90 mt baker tunnel) Cool ole story's, Stuff you could never get away with today. :)
selling at VERY reasonable prices.. $300 for this Ford.. about the same for the GMC I took home and probably about the same for that old green chevy 1 ton in the trees.. you interested?
"she" is selling cheap! all these rigs belonged to her father who passed away at 93 years.. he scrapped old cars his whole life.. but he saved a lot of good ones .. including that 32 lincoln I video'd a while back. which one are you interested in? I'll find out for you
mark armitage well, since you were asking about pricing, I assumed you must be interested in one of them.. however I doubt any of them would float very well. haha.. take care
Travis is referring to the one ton Chev at the 2:40 mark. I guess he could get the emblems for $500 and they'd throw the rest of the truck in with the deal.
Looks like a kinda cold day, but that come-a-long had the new owners down to T-shirts in no time. Video is 4 hours old, 1,050 views. WOW! 2 Chevy guys disliked this video.
As soon as I seen that Come-along I knew they were Pros!! Great save Bud!!☺

he's making a rat rod hauler

Great to see it will live to see another day. Give us an update on the Dodge some time!
which one? I have 3 haha..
you had another one saved.... good one Ken......and at the end of your video....what could possibly go wrong😁😁
actually everything went very well :) seems we mostly only have problems when "Brown" is involved..him and his gasoline haha.. good thing he's in Arkansas!
Nice old machine! Good that it'll see new life!
I bet it`s a 292 Waylon,,,,just sayin` eh ! Much love from Canada !
I worked up a sweat just listening to that come-a-long.
took 2 hours to load that truck!
It's nice to see another one pulled from a field.
Nice to see it went to a good home. Emailed ya on the one ton. :)

yeah, I was expecting an electric winch too.. but.. they got the job done.. it just took a while. haha.. nice young men doing a real good thing...
MissouriOldTimer we did have a winch but it quit working so good old come a long
you guys are in good shape so it didn't look real hard on you to work that come along, I could never do that but then I am old. lol
They need to put a Cummins in that old Ford as well.
Oh man... I bought a winch, after using a Come-Along to load just 2 cars, onto my car trailer. I bet they were worn out, after loading that F-7!
Well at least he had a ratcheting hoist. Glad to see that Dodge giving that Ford a rest.
Great Job 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
well rescued ken cant stand to see stuff crushed
When you load one of 'em with a come along you know you've earned your keep at the end of the day... hahahaha..
Nice truck and trailer , but a come along ? I see a trip to harbor freight in there future for a winch.
awesome Ken,, would love to find something like that.,,,what did he pay for the F7

LOL I've known that old gal for 30 years.. she gets plenty of hugs from me but you're right. it makes her day! haha
That was cool, Another one saved!
Such a beauty I want a truck like this than I make It prettier and drive this thing all day it's nicer than a Brabus G63 6x6 for me
they must be related to Jeff Bradshaw - all he has is come-a-longs too - but at least his trailer tips
Hell you need at least a low geared hand winch, better yet an electric one. But you got it !.
i know, I questioned his method myself.
I was starting to worry about you. Hadn't heard from you in awhile! I have one last measly debt to pay off, and then the wife and I are going to start saving for some land...so I can build a shop! And oh yea, we can build a house...and then I can build a wheat truck turned rat rod!
classic truck rescue on TH-cam might want it
Good save. Lotta work with a comalong. Bet sombody has sore arms today.
That was like an hour on one of them fancy pants rowing machines at the hippy gyms.
Nice save there buddy.
they should put a wench on that thing 390 sweet they should freshen that engine up put 360 pistons in it they r flat tops if needed valve re leafs I did one like that makes more power because 390 pistons r dished with a cam works nice
Someone needs to take 300 dollars and go to harbor freight and get them boys a winch to put on that trailer!
haha.. i know.. I gave them a pretty hard time because they work for a "towing company"!
Good save.
49 f7 never seen 1 of them, is that about a 3&1/2 ton?
i'm new to your videos and i am really diggin' 'em...what part of the country are you folks located, if i might ask?
