    Beautiful Dancing and it seems like a good workout. Spanish culture overall is really interesting and dance is quite a big part of it. I think this is the one meant for tourists, cause wiki says: The flamenco most foreigners are familiar with is a style that was developed as a spectacle for tourists. To add variety, group dances are included and even solos are more likely to be choreographed. The frilly, voluminous spotted dresses are derived from a style of dress worn for the Sevillanas at the annual Feria in Seville. In traditional flamenco, young people are not considered to have the emotional maturity to adequately convey the duende (soul) of the genre. Therefore, unlike other dance forms, where dancers turn professional early to take advantage of youth and strength, many flamenco dancers do not hit their peak until their thirties and will continue to perform into their fifties and beyond. Just some insight.

    Flamenco guitars tend to get drowned out in an outdoor setting, with singing, clapping and dance sounds but that is authentic flamenco.

    I love to see this too. Countries in the raw. So many nations are losing their culture through westernization. Languages are dying as well. I’m American and I don’t want to see something in another country that I can find at home.

    I just subscribed - your videos are wonderful! I am creating an oil painting partly based on images from your video of Flamenco dancers in Spain, with quite a few variations. I would like to have your permission to show and sell the painting. Friend me and I'll send you a photo of the painting when done.

      i'm from the south of spain, a city near granada called seville and here almost everyone dances flamenco.
      When i'm dancing flamenco i get soo into the music, into feeling it and expresing the passion that no other expresion can be made. even more with this genre of flamenco, but when i'm dancing sevillanas (look them up, they're great) it feels more comfortable and its more enjoyable
      Hope this was helpful :)

      @kghel1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, you don't see many smiles in blues either, and much of flamenco has a blues feel to it, it's much about lost love, poverty and despair.

      LaCarusiella flamenco originated from people being locked up due to "vulgar pelvic moves" before that was ever seen. When the prisoners were locked up they still kept dancing their dances, even though they were angry. I used to dance flamenco on the US and they always instructed us not to smile. It's a very grounded type of dance.
