When I was six entering the first grade, I had a beautiful Spanish teacher named Chavela. She had a vibrant burgundy pixie haircut and wore colorful dresses. She said that she taught Flamenco afterschool three times a week. I signed up. I fell in love with the music, the costume and the dance itself. Everytime I danced, I felt so confident and amazing. I became her favorite, she wanted to take me with her on a dancing tour, my mom said maybe when I'm older. She stopped teaching after a while, got married and moved back to Madrid. I haven't seen her since middle school but I wish that I could get a hold of her and thank her. I still love dancing to this day and think that everyone should learn Flamenco. It's such a beautiful dance❤

@@casitritle2936 Chavela es un hipocorístico de Isabel. No es muy común actualmente en España pero lo fué. Hay en Madrid un pueblo que se llama Robledo de Chavela en honor a Isabel la Católica.
Soy Frances de origina Andaluza. Granada por mi padre (Nacido en el Sacrmonte frente a L'Halambra) y Cordoba por mi madre. Tengo la musica falamenca en la sangre y tambien me gusta mucho la musica clasica.Veo que las dos son compatibles al ver el talento des estos artistas, bailaora y guitaristas .
I have seen hundreds of Spanish dancers in my life, this woman - Sara... with this music, is the most magnificent performance I've ever seen and heard. She is perfection. So too the guitarists playing what is the quintessential classic of Spanish music. BRAVO!!!!! It took my breath away. Her every movement is a painting!

I love how the flamenco dancer adds percussion to the music is not just a separate part of the music. She is moving art but also part of the music itself. I want to live somewhere where I can see and hear this every day. I have horrible depression but this music and her dancing lifts it completely for a few moments.
DlchMcV South of Spain , Jerez, Sevilla, Cádiz... but what I Advise yo to do is not JUST watching but learning. No problem if you are a man , if you feel this music you will enjoy learning and dancing as you had never ever dreamt before. If there’s a flamenco school in your town, go! It doesnt mater how old you are.

Lo gracioso es que el titulo de "Asturias" se lo puso un aleman (tras la muerte de Albeniz). Albeniz llamo a esta pieza "Leyendas" y es puro flamenco andaluz (a pesar de ser una pieza compuesta para piano)
Mores a mi me gusta asturias en todas las formas y es una de mis faboritas entodas las modalidades es lo mas hermoso poderlas apreciar x este medio gracias x q es la manera q tengo para entrar en lo espiritual x q es mi conexion con lo mas hermoso la musica gracias aralla mor❤

Crecí escuchando esto tocado en el piano por mi madre y mi tía, y también en guitarra por mi padre. Veía bailar flamenco en películas y desde chiquita imitaba y aprendí a tocar castañuelas...sin embargo, no nací en España 😢. No pude ser bailarina de flamenco como hubiera soñado.
Mira que ese,es arte,jamás me dejaré de enorgullecer de mi herencia Hispana.
Soy mexicano y mis raíces se remontan al pueblo vasco por mi bisabuelo.
Y mi bisabuelo tuvo en bien encontrar a un gitana andaluz.
Y eme aquí un Vasco (Arango).
Y con sangre Gitana nacido en México.
