My dad taught himself how to braid when i was about 6 or 7 and he braided my hair EVERY morining until i was about 14. He felt bad that i didnt have nice hairstyles like all the other girls so he sat a watched SO MANY youtube tutorials. Even now i get him to braid my hair 😂❤

there's something about moms doing your hair after years. so nostalgic and warming. definitely don't miss having my hair tugged so when I ask my mom to help me braid, I wash, comb, detangle, and section my hair so it's ready to be braided. but damn there's such something about having her fingers gliding across my hair that makes me smile like fool and continue to be so grateful to still have her in my life 😍😩❤️

My mum did my hair all the time in braids too coz I have thick curly hair and hers was the opposite (kinda like you and your mum) so braiding was the best way to do my hair for school, and damn she was fast and real good at it.
