Appomattox River Trail Phase IV Ribbon Cutting (Oct 9, 2020)

The Appomattox River Trail in Colonial Heights now extends approximately 1.8 miles with the completion of this new phase. Access to the trail, with parking, can be found at Roslyn Landing, located behind the Colonial Heights Animal Shelter, as well as Appamatuck Park, located off Archer Avenue. The trail is fully accessible, and offers beautiful views of the Appomattox River, as well as sitting areas that offer guests rest and relaxation.
