I'm looking for a dentist from the nineties in Colonial Heights. The year is 1995.
Why did Colonial Heights put a neighborhood near that house? Ruined it.
I am a relative. My great grandmother was a Kennon. So happy to have found this site. I so hope to visit soon
🇺🇲
This was my home town I grew up in my teens after years
Now I understand why they call it colonial whites
at last something hasn't been gentrified to hell and back by a pretentious college. Yeah I guess u can tell I'm from Southside Richmond....actually from it....OMFG STREETCARS Ran from pburg to Richmond?! I'd be less surprised to see a ghostly monorail grtc
the old brick house was owned by my ancestor richard kennon :p
post more videos about what is really going on in the city of colonial heights
Colonial Heights died when they built the mall. Well really before that whhen they took down the toll booths. I graduated in 68. My father was actually born in cOlonial Heights, (On the kitchen table, on Jackson AVe) Thats what he said.My faughter died on her bike in 96 in front of the Municipal Bldg. So you will excuse me if I dont get all misty eyed over Colonial Heights. The town that was. THey might as well change the name.THeres nobody here that remembers that stuff. I really miss Bains Ginger ale.
An ancestry link to the Kennon family led me here and it's fascinating to learn of how and where they lived, generations later I am very proud to have this family connection. A great documentary.

Our family moved from Boston to Colonial Heights in January 1959 and I thought that my dad had moved to the far side of the moon. No subways, no Red Sox, but we did have Shepherd Stadium. Boston Latin School to CHHS. Yikes.

Where is that tree? I always see something about it and have no idea where it is
Colonial Heights Violet Bank . Go to last road on left driving towards Petersburg. Then first left. Less than 100 yards down street. At Old Robert E. Lee's headquarters

Its called a southern accent.
He said we will see a remodel of pickwick well here it is 2020 and its still the same
My friend owns the Ellerslie house. Nice place with ghosts!
Interesting name wonder what else goes with area. If memory serves first settlement was a disaster. New studies claim the *dark times* included some sort of poisoning and cannibalism as the colony died out. Likely had to do with Mercury poisoning so the theory goes.
What a treasurer you have given us here! Sincere thanks for each person participating and special thanks to the people who produced this series.
