Floundering around in Lake Pontchartrain by the Causeway!

That launch looks familiar, bonnabel? Best trout fishing I've ever had was about 100 feet out from that launch, I was trolling 2 minnow lures behind my hobie and I was hooking literally 2 at a time and they were all keepers! I actually had a few slip out my bag while i was pedaling to keep the tension on the line, while trying to stuff another in my bag.

I used to not eat catfish but then I had a flathead/opelousas cat. Those things are incredible.
Also, if you are ever in a time crunch, and don’t have time to clean fish, they’ll keep fine in a ice slurry for 3+days.

Yes! I started with a Matrix xshad on a deathgrip jig head. I switched to a gulp swimming mullet later on. Worked the bottom to mid water column.
