Need I point out Johnny’s first fight with Kreese where Kreese was winning it handily UNTIL Johnny got pissed.
It’s even written in the style components. By Kreese’s words “Channeling your anger into your fists” that sounds like some metaphorical Star Wars shit to me. He even says to Robby in the Season 4 tournament “You’re angry. Good. Use it”
Plus Silver sucker punched him and id Daniel can beat Silver so can Johnny Johnny is equal if not actually stronger than Daniel in Cobra Kai
This is the Johnny that should of fought Silver. He was focused the entire time in this scene

This is one of my favorite fights from the series. I was surprised that in subsequent seasons, Kreese couldn't seem to understand why Johhny hated him so much. It could have something to do with Kreese trying to kill him here.

Kreese was losing this fight and relied on the distraction to win and Silver only beat Chozen because Chozen dropped the weapon and showed mercy. So it would be interesting to see Kreese and Silver fight in season 6 in a fair and square fight and who would come out of the fight alive.

Johnny beat Kreese twice but he was no match for Silver. Then he drew with Daniel in the rematch. So it looks like if Kreese faced off against Silver he would lose.

The fight between johnny and robby was similar to the fight between robby and Kenny......perhaps in season 6 or 7 kenny will mentor a kid younger than him, only to end up fighting him.

It’s funny how when they were in the hallway fighting and we only got to see the back of Kreese that he looked much younger, thinner and much more agile. Go figure!

He doesn't. Kreese was still using Johnny until Silver arrived on the scene, where Silver used Kreese.
A lot of this still falls on Kreese tho, as he was the one who woke the sleeping dog that was Silver.
What happened at the old dojo in season 4 was a mere spur of the moment since Kreese pretended he never did anything wrong 2 episodes later. I'd hardly count season 5 as "caring for him" since Kreese tried to manipulate Johnny with his silver tongue when Daniel left the room, and tried to justify his wrongdoings instead of admitting he was in the wrong.

In karate kid universe.. it's difficult to pick who would be the best fighter... Johnny, Daniel and Chozen. Arguments could be made for any of them.. but I don't think any of them have found their true potential yet.. Johnny is still conflicted over what kind of man he wants to be.. Daniel conflicted over Miyagi past.. Chozen regarding his love life none have achieved true balance yet.
