Being able to get 2 million for an ankle injury has got to be the work of an amazing lawyer.
It was a really bad fracture and a Labor Law case which is a construction accident so a lot of it was lost earnings and other economic damages. But still a great result :)
My Husband and I live in Ohio he was injured plowing snow on a property he was hired to remove snow from the parking lot. He hit a sewer drain that was sticking up in the parking lot there was a big hole and was covered with snow and he had no way to see the damage. The owners of the property knew the damage was there but failed to tell my Husband and even signed the quote approving the work area to be serviced (including the damaged area of the parking lot) finally my Husband took a MRI and was told he had Severe Cervical Stenosis causing Myelopathy with a herniated disk plus bulging disk. He has had 2 Fusion Surgeries the first one c-5 c-6 c-7 Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Corpectomy with planting and the second surgery was T-1 to c-3 Cervical Fusion and Instrumentation with c-3-c7 Laminectomy how much do you think this case can be worth?
That sounds very serious. I’m not familiar with Ohio values but in New York that would be a mid to high seven figure case

I've been a subscriber and educating myself through your videos these past three years. I had a slip and fall in my senior citizen apt building and had to have spinal fusion , med bills are over $430k, and the four defendants are fighting over liability. Finally everybody agrees to mediation which will happen next week. Maybe you can do a video on multiple defendants mediation. Thanks for all your great vids

@@dennisgordon6009 almost there years here in California , best piece of advice I can give is find a well seasoned TRIAL attorney, not one of those mill shop attorney who just settle every case . If you have a strong position on Liability you only have one bite at the apple and you don't want to leave money on the table !
My wife and I were in an elevator accident (elevator fell a total of seven stories in three intervals) two years ago in a casino (Atlantic City). We both have had cervical spinal fusions (c4-c6 for me c4-c5 for her), epidurals, PT, trigger point injections, and I’ll be having a discectomy (L4-S1) in a few weeks.
We were 28 and 26 at the time.
I have had a prior spinal fusion that needed to be revised due to this accident. My wife never had been injured before in her life and had no prior surgeries.
What could the value (if any) of this case be?

Yes especially if you end up doing surgery for it then its worth even more. I haven't really heard of any specific value numbers based on the diameter or size of the herniation itself. Usually its what treatment you do for the injury like epidurals, percutaneous discectomy or full blown spinal surgery

Herniated disc with lots of injections for lower back pain after that lumbar discectomy and then lumbar fusion L-4 L-5. 20% permanent disability on my left shoulder and 10% permanent disability for my left wrist 😢.
