Adjustable mike gain is a major plus. In noisy environments you can crank it down and talk louder and closer.

Hi Bobby, the Tidradio have some great power and good audio, but the RX sux. We had to bring a Yaesu for RX
It's no 300$ Yaesu, but it's definitely worth the 25-30$ TidRadio charges for one.
