Case 580 Super M buckets

Comparing 2 different types of buckets for a Case backhoe, and how I use various buckets for different kinds of work. Geith vs Case, tooth vs smooth.

2 flaws with Geith, the bottoms need more steel on them. The outside teeth should be angled out. The teeth wear much faster than a bucket with angled teeth. Working in hot top and ledge I’d be flipping the outside teeth often otherwise the whole side would wear off.
