When you order it make the sales guy write up a purchase contract and have both parties sign it. Have them give you a copy of it with both signatures on it. At that point if they mark it up when you go to take delivery they are in breach of the contract both parties agreed upon and signed documents for.
I respect RacerX' s optimism and his content is always great but from what I see is Stellantis is going to offer a last hoorah for the Dodge muscle car models and then just make run of the mill electric and fuel efficient offerings until Stellantis fazes out the Dodge brand all together. He said that he could sell it anyway. I’ll keep my 2020 GT500 and enjoy it. I get the same enjoyment that you do just driving the car. Keep fighting.

100k for a Scat would be insane! I was looking to trade in my RT Challenger for a Scat but with all these markups I'm just going to hold on to my RT and just put the money into beefing it up.

You hit the nail on the coffin for exactly what needs to be said when it comes to the current issue at hand. I am a strong believer in Dodge, I've driven my 2020 scatpack since I got it brand new, and I'm hoping to be able to get one of the lasts Charger Redeyes made for 2023, however I am worried of the markups that are to come. Sadly we are living in an age of dying muscle cars and all that will be left are electric vehicles. I'm not saying they're bad, I'm just saying that, in my opinion, muscle cars are much more exciting and fun to drive. I wish you the best of luck with your channel and will continue to stop by every so often to see what content you have posted.
THIS JUST IN "2023 Final Hellcat will be called the Gold Digger" JKN Great video brother, I stand side by side with you on this 100% Clicking my heels to change things but nothing is happening. Stay Motivated!
My 2c, I think there’s a number of factors driving these crazy markup rumors and prices as of late. 1st all of these hot Dodge models,it doesn’t & won’t matter which trim level, were born & produced in a era of the now roughly two decades old shadow of the collector car frenzy spurred on by the Barrett Jackson’s, the Mecum auto auctions, and the internet that have shown the rest of the world how performance wise,”Special “these 1 generation cars were, what they were/ capable of & what people were willing to pay. This collector frenzy has driven the market for these earlier cars to the point of high five/low six figure prices based on their performance/options/rarity & reputation/history of what they were capable of no matter what the marque. For the past two almost 3 decades, Detroit was really slow to catch up to the Performance level of what some of these first generation cars, and one second generation car ,the Buick grand national GNX comes to mind was capable of back in 1987.OC,you and I are about the same age and have lived through all the mass produced so called performance offerings from the big three auto makers that were offered to the general public. The mustang GT/Cobra and the Camaro in whichever trim option comes to mind here.Z/28,RS,SS. GM had dropped their Camaro due to lagging sales.Fast forward to 2005 when Ford revamped their Mustang remember? It looked like The older 1 gen mustang that most people remember at that time Which hit a home run saleswise four Ford. Dodge, still under Daimler Chrysler followed suit and unveiled 1st their Charger then their Challenger which brought a lot of attention as I remember and sparked off a new performance war as each auto maker upped the ante mainly Ford and Dodge for their share of an increasing performance market. GM,the General Morons Even jumped back in the game with their all new revamped Camaro trying to get their share of the market, which the car to me looked uglier than the previous generation that they had dropped for sagging sales. 2007 on Dodge and Ford kept upping the ante performance wise with increasing performance trim options until Dodge unveiled the Hellcat Challenger in 2015! And later the very popular Dodge Charger! Can’t forget those! Everybody on here knows that the Hellcat what is the first mass produced car with enough horsepower to spank most anything on the street! And subsequently dodge under Fiat Chrysler tutelage, kept upping the performance bar with the demon, the Redeye, The super stock the jailbreaks and everything you see on the market today. That all being said the Challenger and we can’t forget the charger, have been brought to almost iconic status as of late thanks to a aggressive marketing campaign by dodge,& all the TH-cam videos plus newscasts of depicting these cars in a somewhat negative light!!! 🤣Also, with the government in place at present that’s trying to force all of us into EV’s,IE Kalifornia, we both live here lol plus the pro green euro company that’s taken over Dodge means it’s the swan song for all the way cool stuff that’s been available to us for the past 8 years almost 9!!! As far as prices go? True the Hellcat Chargers/Challenger’s are/ were mass produced . Only time and attrition numbers will tell as more cars get wrecked/stolen etc. IMO these are the only vehicles capable of eclipsing pretty much anything from the first generation of muscle cars, and most cars on the street today, with the exception of the occasional EV.with examples running 10’s 9’s some 8’s and a couple of 7sec times, I think the cats the scats the R/t’s well hold their value for a long time to come. Sorry to be sooo winded, a lot comes to mind here! In the meantime I’ll just kick back & enjoy my 20 which I feel fortunate to have and watch the drama unfold… ✌️
haha lol thx OCM. I'm glad I stuck around for the end for your ideas for on names for the next cars... I was belly roll laughin. Also thx for keepin that 392 rollin/purrin during the video...nice real engine background noise.
You could get a scat pack with 30-40000 miles for hi $20s in 2019. If they come back to those prices and I’m where I want to be financially, I’d buy in a heartbeat. So I’m hoping for a lull in prices
Without a doubt these will have dealer markup on them. I think you were spot on in your initial video that if they were going to institute markup protection they would announce it. The simple fact that they called it a shakedown is pretty funny.
I think your off... I bet there more! I bet there gonna go for $120,000!!! Dealers are already pricing top of the line models of regular run of the mill sports cars for double. I've seen freaking KIAs goes for $90,000! Your not wrong. Your right on the money (pun intended). First they price out the regular guy. Now they're gonna price out the rich guy so only the wealthy and stupid are gonna be able and willing to get one of these things. I'm a 44yr old enthusiast. I worked my ass off to get where I am. I'd rather buy a beater and build a car or Restomod that would absolutely stomp a mud hole in one of those Shakers. Both in a straight line and in the curves... And then take it to SEMA! I'll throw my money at aftermarket manufacturers before I throw it at a Dodge dealership. Back when the modern Challenger first dropped in '08/'09 I fell in love. I fell in love and there was no way in hell that I could have bought one. Not until now. I landed my first massive pay day 3 months ago and am fortunate enough to be able to look forward to many, many more. I can most definitely afford to buy one of these cars. I told myself that when this day arrived that I would buy my Challenger. However... I'm not stupid. I'm not paying double msrp. I'd rather spend my money smart and go "built not bought". So that's what I'm gonna do. If Dodge is gonna flick me off then screw'em. I've built my share of tire scorchers and now Dodge has just given me the motivation to build me something amazing. Maybe I should be thanking Dodge for giving me this new sense of direction. So thank you Dodge, I look forward to seeing you at SEMA.
You made a great point about who will be able to buy them. Dodge muscle cars are peoples dream car, I know my is. With the direction they are going only someone with a lot expendable cash will get one. Its a slap in the face for those who truly love these cars. Sad.
I'm also thinking, that big dealerships are taking their power back and eliminating the used car dealers , because brand new used cars are on used car lots these days, and that's the real shakedown. Lol! 🤣😅 and I'm definitely buying another challenger, but the cheaper one! 🤣Great stuff on the podcast my man!
I love you and I love your videos. I have a challenger GT and I really want a scat pack at least before they disappear but I’m not financially prepared for that. Keep up the good work, much love to all the dodge fam out there! ❤️
Thanks OCM, just keep it real, I'm trying to get a Hellcat Charger and everywhere here in Florida all Dealership are charging markups like 10, 15, or even 25 thousands for a regular hellcat, Like I said, keep doing these videos, I'm with you on this
OCM, thanks for standing up for the little guy and against Dodge for making limited sticker editions and greedy dealerships. When the market turns, and it will, remember who was fair now and who wanted to rip you off and buy from the reputable businesses.
100%! If I could go online right now and pre-order this car, knowing that it won't be marked up to infinity I would do it right this moment. But knowing how greedy the dealers are, I will likely just buy a used older scat pack or Hellcat a few years on, from a private individual. Dealers are such a joke.
Love your take on this OCMotivator. I love RacerX and his take also, but..... Yes we should all be opened minded but at the same time, Dodge is brand that stands on its own and the customers of Dodge have the same take. Although I am looking forward to the future I feel Dodge is definitely taking a route that could leave the muscle heads behind.
I bought my widebody this year because I knew the last year was going to be a cluster **** . I absolutely love the car but I would of been priced out next year, it’s an amazing car , so glad I did it.
Earlier I commented on Racer X’s video on the Shakedown. 🤨 Hmmm a 392 Paint Job? I wished they would’ve bumped that 6.4 to 500HP. Cmon dodge, it’s only 15 more ponies 😂. I’ll just stay with my 2019 challenger 392 widebody. Don’t want to wrestle dealer markups, high prices ETC., An $85k paint job that only comes in gray or black?? OC motovator you are correct….this is a F&@kin ShakeDown!! 😂
@@ocmotivator oh absolutely, I wished I could remember where I saw this … so may or may not be true but the 392 is capable of 525HP. But anyway seeing that magical number of 500HP would have been special send off. A paint job they could of kept under that car cover. Thanks for your content Motivator, been watching your videos for sometime now, and more than ever we need to support one another (car guys) and who knows maybe we will have the cool cars everyone dreams of, the way we saw cars from the 60’s and 70’s we are that now 👍🏻
In spring of 2019 there was 3 new Challengers I was deciding between, a 2019 base scatpack for $38,000, a leftover 2018 T/A 392 for $41,000, and a leftover 2018 T/A 5.7 for $33,000. Of course, I got the cheap one and paid it off in a year. I love it still but always had the intention of upgrading. I don't think that's going to happen
They're going way too fast with this push. ICE engines are a cornerstone of our modern society and I really don't see them going away..I won't be sitting in line to get my 30 minute EV battery charge. I know I won't be spending god knows how much to replace the battery. I'll enjoy my shitty gas mileage, loud ass scatpack!
way too fast??? They just are now unveiling a hybrid Dodge with the Hornet and then showing a concept of their full EV. Dont know whats quick about that? We still have plenty of time with the Hurricane turbo 6 coming out for 2024
Good video! I completely agree with everything you said. Hopefully, all the younger guys and galls take your advice. I've owned 2 challengers, a 16 hellcat, and a 19 redeye. I currently own a 21 charger redeye. I have never paid a penny over msrp. I've always figured out a way, to go under msrp. I even have zero interest on my charger redeye. Keep up the good work!
@@jaylonhanible8167 They had a deal going on through Chrysler capital 0% for 72 months. I don't think it was supposed to include hellcat or redeye models, but I have it. I took delivery of the car last September. My car is indigo blue with the carbon fiber stripes.
@@joshsway2158 I check my credit almost daily. Always have, and always will. Actually last year, from spring to fall I replaced every vehicle I have with a brand new one. I have 6 vehicles total. In the process of trading and selling, I walked away with a little over $70k in profit. At the end of it, my credit was demolished though. Thankfully, in about a years time my credit has rebounded. It's now around 810 to 815. Not too bad, for it dipping below 700 at my lowest point.
And I agree with you on the markups on the Limited vehicles That Dodge will be releasing. We can look at their competition GM with the C8 Corvette…..I’ve seen mark ups $90,000 for a base trim level…. Also with the Ford bronco i’ve seen some mark ups go beyond $60,000…..
It's all for tax increases. They are going to charge you by the mile and an electric vehicle tax every year. I had a Toyota hybrid and AR charges the property tax and hybrid fee. Taxes were $200 and the hybrid fee was $120
Dodge knows if they don’t stop dealerships from marking up vehicles over MSRP investors and flippers will be the ONLY people getting them . It’s really will be a “shakedown”. I hate that Dodge has been so vague about the 2023 models and seem to think I’m going to buy some little Italian SUV or an EV. Nope … not me!
Yep. As with anything else. First come first serve. Create a waiting list, but huge mark ups isn’t the answer and the cars end up going to speculators and collectors instead of true enthusiasts who will drive the cars and enjoy them.
FrankieD R/T in Germany 🇩🇪. My 2022 Scat Pack Challenger is being delivered here at the end of the month. I’ll be graduating and giving up my 2019 Challenger R/T plus Black Top edition in order to do this. I really can’t wait brother. I’m 57 years old, work with the military as a DA civilian and am a 31 year retiree. I am going to hold on to this one. Let’s see how the market pans out with electrification. I think that it’s going to be a really hard transition seeing that we haven’t really considered building the infrastructure to accommodate all of that yet. We’ll see right? Thanks for your inspiration and content. You and RacerX are my two favorites. Love you man!❤️
This was your best video. Hahahaha I like the rants because you’re giving all of us a voice! We all share your frustrations. Also, the Hornet does suck! I don’t know why anyone would buy that thing.
Exactly.as a young guy i had my 1st challenger in 2014 which was 8 yrs after these things came back.preparing for a breakout in the new generation by next year with money im saving to strike while the iron is hot and put down 30 40k & literally b4 my eyes here we go with eat these veggies & super limited markups that are beyond me,why a friggin scat pack with no difference in hp will be pretty much what a base hellcat is.or possibly priced@ or more than a super stock or jailbreak since we seen what happened with the demon on a simple back door, exclusive access to some nimwit who will sit on it til i sell it on a dum place like ebay to yep,you said it.the highest bidder!
I have 2017 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. Low miles. It has everything but the wide body. I'll just keep it in my garage. Maybe it will be worth a fortune soon.
Rear question though? Has anyone actually solved the source of electricity problem? Solar panels will not charge during the night when most people will plug in at home. There is currently no way to dispose of wind turbines. Nuclear waste has to sit for years. And coal is outputting co2, and don't forget the coal sludge after its burned. We need more focus on ecologically changing senor the upper plains, or making a fusion technology for these cars to be feasible. That or 1km by 1km batteries ( an entire building that is just a battery) every 50 miles. And that still doesn't solve our limited sources of lithium.
The cars are real special and real effing EXPENSIVE!! YEP ITS A SHAKEDOWN ALRIGHT. You are bang on about how this will go down. In truth I am furious. On my second Scat Pack just bought a 2022 back in June ..at first I was so relieved I had ,but now I'm starting to feel pretty salty with Dodge...like brother hood what?? Perhaps I am alone w my feelings of no loyalty perhaps I'm being silly . Or perhaps the brother hood had only ever been within us ,each other the buyers ,and that should never die. I get it times are changing as they must. But the ridiculous pricing of these special edition cars is just plain wrong. Ok I'm done. Lol
THANK YOU for noticing the name like I was confused for a second how noone else said anything about a name that literally means you're getting robbed, hell maybe the guys at Dodge are giving us hints not to buy it and that Stellantis is forcing them to do this bs lol that would be respectable I guess.
It's apropos there are 7 special editions. These cars could have been known as " The magnificent 7" , but I suspect they will likely be known as " The chapter 7's" ...just a little double entendre bankruptcy humor . 🤣
Good video, and feel your pain. I will say, nobody, NOBODY, can or will be able to stop the mark ups. ALL brands have that problem and nobody has been able to eliminate it. I've seen examples from all the major automakers, even on regular average cars in some circumstances. Not sure what the point would be to make a claim otherwise, to only disappoint on an empty promise. I do understand it as a premise, just not feasible. Besides throughout time has denounced the practice along with everyone else, but yet it still happens industry wide. Disappointing, but there is truth in it. Thanks OC, always appreciate the commentary.
Thanks! And it’s totally feasible. They could control allocations very easily, create a hotline to report the dealers who do it, significantly increase dealers invoice price and rebate dealers who can prove they sold them at or below msrp, and more
@@ocmotivator don't completely disagree, notice I said eliminate and nobody has, can't be too easy. My true point here is its not just Dodge, it's the whole industry gouging at times. Especially post Covid. There are laws and other contractual verbiage used to allow some lienancies, much isn't completely easy to combat with out massive court interactions etc. Much more of a subject to cover here. Just not as easy as it sounds. Still, I'm with you of at least them stepping up their game. Something. Thanks as always.
Hopefully if all goes well I can get a hellcat next year … my credit score is finally at 748 , paid off all my credit cards and been saving up 25k for a down payment … hope all goes well next year
I doubt gas prices will go up. In the next ten years every new car will be electric meaning the demand for gas will decrease and gas prices will go super low.
I’m glad I have my Challenger R/T. I just bought a new motorcycle too. (‘22 Ducati Supersport 950s for those who care. 😉) The future is coming. And it is going to be a sad day. How did we come to this?? Anyway. Keep bringing the terrific content my friend! And be blessed! 🙏
one of the 7 needs to be a retro package with oldschool wheels and full color matching interiors....blue exterior with blue interior, green on green, ect
I really really want a challenger and i made my decision to buy one next year, but i know it’ll easily be somewhere around 50k looking at the market in Orlando scatpacks are going for 47,48 rn
ROFLOL!! I'm crying those special editions you came up with, just HILARIOUS! I can't wait for Dodge's next release and your take on it. I agree with you on this, if Dodge swings and misses they should know about it. I don't agree with giving them the benefit of the doubt and cutting them some slack or trusting them like they are the all knowing gurus of muscle. Like seriously, Shakedown? Couldn't we just order a Shakedown package on any R/T just last year? Swing and miss? I think they just swung, missed and threw the bat right into the bullpen! Really need to do better than a sticker package considering the inevitable "Shakedown" the dealerships will be presenting prospective buyers.
We had an I3 for a while and let me tell you the infrastructure is not ready for the electric push. Thank God that i3 had the range extender option. I can’t tell you how many times charging stations didn’t work or simply weren’t there anymore. Stopped at an oasis once to top up. Chargers wouldn’t work, I was ok but the lady in the bolt had 30 miles of range and the next closest charger was 50 miles away 🤷🏽♂️ what dose she do where dose she go? They are pushing this on us without the proper resource
You make good points, these cars are just mass produced cars and not some Italian exotics that are hand made in Italy. The dealership markups are making the cars way overpriced. A friend of mine just paid 100K plus for a Super Stock and you're right it may take him years to break even if he does at all. I remember when the first Hellcat Challenger came out in 2015 a guy I know paid 80 grand for it and he sold it about 2 years ago for 60 grand. The resale values will probably go up a lot faster now after 2023 when they totally stop making these cars though.
Wow, you called that right. Guaranteed there is some sleazy marketing guy at Dodge thinking no one would make the connection while they laugh at thier customers all the way to the bank. Love your suggested names. You only forgot the "Just around the bend, over" edition.
Spot on as usual OCM. You, RacerX and Marspeed are my favorite! Now… my dad said he saw all this shit happen just like today in the early to mid 70’s. We eventually did get muscle car back. I’m hoping it will be the case again.
If I had to choose between haggling down a hellcat or one of these cars, Im taking the cat every day of the week. I don’t know why people would spend so much on a shakedown just to say they got an exclusive car.
That jstar scat pack was my special order. They tried to mark me up 20k but the rep I will keep her name out of this but she told me it wouldn’t have a mark up and boom they hit me with a 20k mark up. It had my name on the order slip (still have the pictures) so I drove all the way from riverside to San Luis Obispo Dodge to buy my widebody scatpack charger. No mark up and higher spec. I literally ordered that black scat pack base to keep the price around 55k smh my red scat has upgraded everything and I paid 55k for my 2021 scat pack charger
Ya. And maybe I’ll grow 10 inches and play for the Lakers. I’ll believe it when I see it. Seems like it would have been a good thing for Tim to mention explicitly if so.
@@ocmotivator I agree with that for sure. They are going to price the middle class out of getting one of these cars. The people that will buy it will be the people that put it in there 5+ car garage and never drive it. Im all for people making money but at some point they have to determine what is making money and what is just being plain greedy.

That’s right I worked my ass off for my widebody scat pack💪🏼
Great video OCM! you and Racer X are my go to for the best content! Stay motivated my man
You and RacerX are my go to on anything Mopar muscle. Like you, I hope that there aren't crazy markups, but I won't hold my breath.
You could get a scat pack with 30-40000 miles for hi $20s in 2019. If they come back to those prices and I’m where I want to be financially, I’d buy in a heartbeat. So I’m hoping for a lull in prices
35k in 2019 I copped a 2018 23k miles
I paid 40,000 for mine brand new in 2019.
Sad.
Great video, your right saw a 2022 Charger widebody 392 $80k my goodness
Shakedown is what they do to you (sales strategy) when you buy one of these
I'm also thinking, that big dealerships are taking their power back and eliminating the used car dealers , because brand new used cars are on used car lots these days, and that's the real shakedown.
What’s your name?
Buy used problem solved
Thanks OCM, just keep it real, I'm trying to get a Hellcat Charger and everywhere here in Florida all Dealership are charging markups like 10, 15, or even 25 thousands for a regular hellcat, Like I said, keep doing these videos, I'm with you on this
Get a used one problem solved
OCM, thanks for standing up for the little guy and against Dodge for making limited sticker editions and greedy dealerships. When the market turns, and it will, remember who was fair now and who wanted to rip you off and buy from the reputable businesses.
The limited edition scat pack shakedown in money grabber green 😆🤣😂
😂
100%! If I could go online right now and pre-order this car, knowing that it won't be marked up to infinity I would do it right this moment. But knowing how greedy the dealers are, I will likely just buy a used older scat pack or Hellcat a few years on, from a private individual. Dealers are such a joke.
Tim can be quoted saying they don’t control what dealers charge so that opens the gates wide for all sorts of markups
Exactly. Yet he can control allocations and stop dealers who do it from getting more allocations. So that’s baloney.
Great comeback video on all new information ty sir
Love your take on this OCMotivator. I love RacerX and his take also, but..... Yes we should all be opened minded but at the same time, Dodge is brand that stands on its own and the customers of Dodge have the same take. Although I am looking forward to the future I feel Dodge is definitely taking a route that could leave the muscle heads behind.
I bought my widebody this year because I knew the last year was going to be a cluster **** . I absolutely love the car but I would of been priced out next year, it’s an amazing car , so glad I did it.
"That doesn't change anything if people don't buy them" - some smart guy.
Only thing I can say is buy a good used one. Great video. 👍🏼
The Fleece Edition.. 🤣🤣 Love it.
And they could’ve gotten it to 500 with a simple tune I’m sure. 👍
@@ocmotivator oh absolutely, I wished I could remember where I saw this … so may or may not be true but the 392 is capable of 525HP. But anyway seeing that magical number of 500HP would have been special send off. A paint job they could of kept under that car cover. Thanks for your content Motivator, been watching your videos for sometime now, and more than ever we need to support one another (car guys) and who knows maybe we will have the cool cars everyone dreams of, the way we saw cars from the 60’s and 70’s we are that now 👍🏻
I really enjoy your passion for cars in your videos. it's authentic and I can feel it
In spring of 2019 there was 3 new Challengers I was deciding between, a 2019 base scatpack for $38,000, a leftover 2018 T/A 392 for $41,000, and a leftover 2018 T/A 5.7 for $33,000.
Of course, I got the cheap one and paid it off in a year. I love it still but always had the intention of upgrading. I don't think that's going to happen
Yo-you killed it with the names 🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣-classic.
Those names at the end are hilarious! 😂. But real talk! Had to subscribe for that.
Zero interest! How you pulled that out?
How did you get zero interest?
@@jaylonhanible8167 They had a deal going on through Chrysler capital 0% for 72 months. I don't think it was supposed to include hellcat or redeye models, but I have it. I took delivery of the car last September. My car is indigo blue with the carbon fiber stripes.
@@bv6241 Props to you for having really good credit for that, wish i was just as lucky
I love your logic OC , that’s what I’ve been saying about these being mass produced!! The only Chrysler I want is the RAM TRX I NEEDED IT
And I agree with you on the markups on the Limited vehicles That Dodge will be releasing. We can look at their competition GM with the C8 Corvette…..I’ve seen mark ups $90,000 for a base trim level…. Also with the Ford bronco i’ve seen some mark ups go beyond $60,000…..
This is America we love to rip people off 🤷🏾
I love your perspective; thank you!
Great video onceeeee again this man can’t miss 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I just picked up a Black Shakedown wide body for $3000 under MSRP, it was $66,000.00.
I was happy to get it.
Cali can't even have continuous power as it is. Imagine the blackouts when everyone has to charge cars every night.
My curious thought is if it's about the big V8's then why are we not seeing them do something with the 2500 trucks ???
Yep. Excellent question. Funny how they aren’t even mentioning the trucks end.
If they don't have markups, dealers might have lines out the door. How do they decide who gets the car? First in the door...?
Yep. As with anything else. First come first serve. Create a waiting list, but huge mark ups isn’t the answer and the cars end up going to speculators and collectors instead of true enthusiasts who will drive the cars and enjoy them.
I feel this videos mood, at that place myself.
Racer X cool but I feel like he’s paid by dodge so a bit bias… but the Matrix is real scary 😧
Youre right though, OCNegavator. Dealers are bandits.
A Bandit edition would be fitting too
Real nice talk, well said.
I just want a Gen 1 viper
I have 2017 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. Low miles. It has everything but the wide body. I'll just keep it in my garage. Maybe it will be worth a fortune soon.
U can add the wb to it uf that's what u really wanted
Rear question though? Has anyone actually solved the source of electricity problem? Solar panels will not charge during the night when most people will plug in at home. There is currently no way to dispose of wind turbines. Nuclear waste has to sit for years. And coal is outputting co2, and don't forget the coal sludge after its burned. We need more focus on ecologically changing senor the upper plains, or making a fusion technology for these cars to be feasible. That or 1km by 1km batteries ( an entire building that is just a battery) every 50 miles. And that still doesn't solve our limited sources of lithium.
Nope! No one has a solution. Just lots of talk and new rules. 🤦♂️
@@ocmotivator the solutions that are thought of, dont address the real problem.
Lmao the fleece addition spot on
The cars are real special and real effing EXPENSIVE!!
Excellent point! If 65% less people are using gas then gas will be cheaper than electricity! We’re officially living in the matrix. I swear.
@@ocmotivator if you only knew....truth is stranger than fiction
I’m glad I have my Challenger R/T.
I just bought a new motorcycle too. (‘22 Ducati Supersport 950s for those who care. 😉)
The future is coming. And it is going to be a sad day. How did we come to this?? Anyway. Keep bringing the terrific content my friend! And be blessed! 🙏
The names you came up with!!! 😂😂😂
one of the 7 needs to be a retro package with oldschool wheels and full color matching interiors....blue exterior with blue interior, green on green, ect
Hahaha the ending made me laugh. Subscriber gained. Screw dodge right now !
With you all the way on this one. Dodge seems to be doing one dumb thing after another
You got shook down when that cop pulled you over earlier Lol
Yes I did! 👮♂️ 💰
I really really want a challenger and i made my decision to buy one next year, but i know it’ll easily be somewhere around 50k looking at the market in Orlando scatpacks are going for 47,48 rn
Buy used problem solved
I just got notified of the dealerships that are getting these limited number cars is Hendrick here in NC you won’t see any of them under $100k
What is more fun to drive. The 6 speed c
Shaker challenger or the scat you currently have?
For sure the manual is a lot more fun. But the charger just makes more sense to drive daily.
They insult us with an "exclusive" sticker package?!
Listen, you are absolutely right-the shakedown has begun. 🔥💰😬
One question: Were you idling your V8 for more than 20 mins? It's totaled... 🤣🤣
Love it! Great vid as always. A fool and his money are soon parted.
Wow, you called that right. Guaranteed there is some sleazy marketing guy at Dodge thinking no one would make the connection while they laugh at thier customers all the way to the bank. Love your suggested names. You only forgot the "Just around the bend, over" edition.
One of the best car related videos ever made 👍
They already began! I saw some huge mark ups basic scatpact going for 85k 20k mark up unbelievable! And one hell cat going for 110k
New to the channel. Been catching up on your videos. I appreciate your take on this
The stickup edition 😂
Spot on as usual OCM. You, RacerX and Marspeed are my favorite! Now… my dad said he saw all this shit happen just like today in the early to mid 70’s. We eventually did get muscle car back. I’m hoping it will be the case again.
If I had to choose between haggling down a hellcat or one of these cars, Im taking the cat every day of the week. I don’t know why people would spend so much on a shakedown just to say they got an exclusive car.
🎶”just give me money, that’s what i want”🎶
That jstar scat pack was my special order. They tried to mark me up 20k but the rep I will keep her name out of this but she told me it wouldn’t have a mark up and boom they hit me with a 20k mark up. It had my name on the order slip (still have the pictures) so I drove all the way from riverside to San Luis Obispo Dodge to buy my widebody scatpack charger. No mark up and higher spec. I literally ordered that black scat pack base to keep the price around 55k smh my red scat has upgraded everything and I paid 55k for my 2021 scat pack charger
Wow! Ya. I’ve been in there many times and they’re prices are insane. And it astonished me that people are paying these prices still. Nuts.
maybe the dealerships they are giving them to, have been vetted and wont do the massive markups....
The Charger Fleece edition sounds about right 🤣
I'm going to miss burning my dead dinosaurs everyday 😢
Yeah, I call it dinosaur blood
I totally agree with you 💯 man.
Racer X is saving himself a seat at the table. Definitely has to come off as a "company man" to stay in their favor... smdh
