I was born in America to Latvian parents. We always had egg fights on Easter (make sure to use hard boiled eggs). Piragi are a celebration food for every occasion. My mom would combine ham with sauteed bacon and onions, seasoned with black pepper, for the filling.
What a great insight into your life as if we were on Zoom and just chatting! 🧡 Speaking of traditions, egg fights are definitely common but also they say that you must eat the first egg with salt so that you don’t lie this year, and swinging is a must to avoid mosquitoes in the summer! I forgot about the swings till before getting to bed and ran out to a playground to do it haha.

I made Kaia Enterprises in name of our firstborn child who’s first Latvian Honduran in the world and the idea of the company is the blending of the flags as they’re matching as the two sides of body in human anatomy, pumping “blue blood” and “red blood”, Riga and Roatan were made to marry. I love Hondurans and they like me, it’s a physical chemistry of belonging we as people have I think, and we’re meant to be together. I’m political, and Julio Edgardo is the grandson of that army general Leopoldo Hernandez…. Aww I love that you married your Latvian. Congratulations mami. Keep building this channel and let’s do a collaboration sometime! I’m home with the kids not making videos actively but I am interested to communicate.
For me, as a man who knows the Christian theology very well, it seems pretty weird that the Good Friday is a public holiday which is actually a mourning day for Christians. No other Christian country in the world celebrates this day as a public holiday. And I really worder why no church officials in Latvia object to this. If I would be a devoted Christian, I would really propose to the government to abolish this weird "svētku diena", but I'm not one, so it's not my problem. :)
Because FUCK the churches altogether, Latvia is a true pagan nation and this whole misunderstanding of even allowing the business of religion to run rampant in last pagan land on earth shall be resolved and CLOSED down. There shouldn’t be any Christianity in Latvia period. People that murdered our ancestors becoming our identity just shows the weaklings stayed ruling the land after the wise ones were killed or fled

I must say your videos have started to help me understand Riga more than other videos that are out there. I am an Indian and I "might" move to Riga soon considering how things go.
