For my blaster ive ran all types of octane throughout my ownership, 110 is what I run now after heavy porting and engine work. With the porting i had done my motor would run at 380-400 degrees on the head with pump 93, as soon as i changed over to 110 leaded race fuel my head temps would only reach 220-240 even after a full day of riding on the trails. In short if you have the compression to burn 110 then i would highly recommend running it, it will aid in the longevity of the top end significantly.
Please do a compression test I would love to know how much that head adds to it. I recently made my own high compression head and I would love to compare
These are guards i picked up from a ltz400 they pretty much just bolted right up. I think I took a grinding wheel to it to modify it just a tad but it was super easy.
It's been on for several weeks now. Put maybe 3 or 4 hours on it with no complaints. The $175 ish dollars I would say it's worth it. This one I got from tach out performance was shipped to me in like 2 days.
@@TeeOna2StrokeI will just get mine made here since I'm from Namibia the shipping will be way expensive but as for cold starts how is it and is there more compression
@@jade8985 definitely more compression as I can feel it just kicking is over, but is nothing crazy or alarming to were it will change your kicking routine.

I'm probably to poor to keep 110 around lol, I would like to though.
Can you also upload more videos on this?????
I have more recent videos of the head installed with me riding around on it. All the videos newer than this one have the head. Check out my channel.

I have a harbor freight branded compression gauge it probably wouldn't be much help as they always read so much different.
What do you have as the like mud flap/heel guards? Need some for mine and looking around

If your running g a high compression head u might want to use race gas to keep the temperature down
I've been thinking about that maybe some Sunoco 94 for a little extra protection
Hi was thinking of getting one made for a while now but is it worth getting and how long have you driven after this video and has it cause any issues

@@TeeOna2StrokeI’m in Delaware how much you say that set up runs
Think blasters are really reliable for street riding long as you have knowledge of rebuild since part are cheap and only takes couple hours
Did you have to shave the cylinder or was this just a direct bolt on?
Bolt on and go
@@TeeOna2Stroke awesome thanks, I'm running a 68mm big bore on mine I wanna see if it'll give it alittle more pick up lol.
@@maibalzich7602 just watch out which style your getting I think there's two different types. Each giving off different power characteristics.
What kinda tach speedo is that? Do you think it’s accurate?
It's a trail tech universal kit. It's really accurate until it freaks out at 60mph, haven't figured that out yet haha 😅
Where do you get that gauge cluster?
It's a Trail Tech vapor. I used the universal one for the install.
Is that a all stock
@@walterthecoolgamer444 bigger carb and v force reeds I think it was at this point
Is your shifter alright ?
Yeah, but I can be lazy. And with boots on it makes it worse
have to run race gas though......
No. 93 will work fine. I’ve been running 93 in mine for 2 seasons now with that head and no problem.
yeah 93 or sunoco 94 is just fine
Very bad review if you didnt check jeting an how much diference in the compresion with out a proper compresion tool🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
That's fair
Re-jet time man, more fuel across the board, big main, and needle at richest; she's starving!
I have a 150 main in now, I had a rmx 250 that ran a 170 main. Can't imagine it really needs as much fuel as that. 🤔
Why waste your time use a pulse injection carb
