Thank you! The straw bale walls actually breaths, which makes the air inside very good. I also forgot to mention that the house has solar collectors on the roof that, together with electricity, heats the water before it sends it down into the floor. We'll update you on how it's going in the winter months ❄️

Dreams always don't come true for one reason or another and I know perhaps in another lifetime they might for me but I've truly lost hope at 59 years old. I love the energy of this home and the light is gorgeous. I like your idea of using repurposed material, driftwood and plants. I can see it all! Just like in my dream...

We actually had to sacrifice our old lives and so much of what we thought was us to make this dream come true. But this dream is so big for us, that it is the only thing we can do. Nothing else would make sense. We will never take it for granted and we will keep on dreaming bigger, enjoying the process and inspire others to do the same. Wish you the best life ✨

I put all my energy to helping them and that is why my dreams have been put aside for this lifetime. I must sacrifice them for others. It is what I need to do. I couldn't live with being selfish. Hey Tanja, the willows are actually a part of the sewage system. The first row is one year old, and the second one is only two years. Nothing happens by chance, so it looks like it's meant to be to start weaving baskets! They have to be cut once every year anyways. Thanks for the suggestion ❤️
