  • Johnny Depp, testifying in his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, appeared to get a little annoyed with her attorney when he made a comment about not wasting the court's time. "I don't feel that I'm wasting anyone's time, sir," Depp quickly replied to the lawyer, who was in the middle of cross-examination. The attorney then spent some time asking Depp about text messages referring to the "monster."

Saying you would ‘be swallowed up by the monster’, referring to addiction (which is an illness, not a personality trait) is something completely different than saying you ARE a monster... that’s what she made of it.. I don’t condone drug and alcohol abuse in any way, but using an expression of vulnarability in a personal conversation between friends, and completely taking it out of context as a stick to hit him with is just despicable and vile..

I see what they're trying to achieve with this tactic. It does make him look bad...but can a few text messages really overshadow all that insanity we seen from AH? She makes his "monster " problem seem more like a puppy he locked up in comparison to wtf she has going on inside of her head.

I’ve been dealing with someone so alike it’s hurts to see someone hurt like I do. I mean literally the same tactics and rage so word for word I’m almost convinced we live in a simulation. I am in debt to this man for his courage. Seems people will listen to and believe the woman’s story but when I try to set it straight they “don’t wanna hear anymore “ and proceed to talk down to me with judgment. I have so many undeniable recordings of the truth as it happened but since they’re not trying to get in my pants it’s irrelevant and I’m just nitpicking. Oddly enough wives and girlfriends follow their lead. Though I feel for him I’m grateful for Johnny and his fight he’s still uncomfortably fighting. I’m sure it won’t be over when this court case is over and done.. It’s hell on the soul and I hope he finds true love and companionship to help him through the heart struggle that for me seems may always be here. I hope to jam with him soon right after the hug he’s got coming from me.
