Thank you Dr Gregor for keeping me healthy. Doing it all. WFPB vegan. No processed foods, refined sugar, fried foods, chemicals eating the daily dozen with B12, vit D. Wish the world would catch up to us. You enable me to have a comeback to those non vegans . Great videos and books.

Even though I read "How Not to Age" I love to hear Dr. Greger speak. He has a way with words making important information humerous at times.

@@ddb12345 There's an easy fix for that. Listen to someone else talk.

@@ddb12345yes I agree it can be very difficult to understand it - but it’s great information and I really appreciate the written highlighted quotes from the articles - 😀

I’ve seen so many How Not To Age presentations pop up on TH-cam lately, I don’t know how Dr. Greger keeps up! Really appreciate his hard work - and the fact that he puts so much of this information out there totally FREE! Of course I bought the book so I can read all of it and use it as a great reference, but again - he donates 100 percent of the profits from his book sales too. He’s improved my life drastically! Thanks Dr. Greger!

I know that you give this talk multiple times but please don't slur your words or talk too fast for those of us listening for the first time. may be an early version could be the polished version for TH-cam watchers. Thank you for all the work you and your helpers do, i appreciate it very much. I also make sure that my library always gets a copy of your books.

Dr. Greger was in a different time zone that was 5 hours ahead of where Dr. Barnett was. He may have been tired/sleepy.

I would recommend just watching it at a slower speed. I watch at ×1.5 speed and can still understand him...but there is the option to go the other way and slow it down.

Dear dr Michael Greger - I love that you show the quotes from the articles - it makes it easier to understand you ( your passionate and very expressive way of articulating what you say sometimes make it really difficult to understand 🙃♥️)

Thanks so much for sharing this program, and I also appreciate the mention of using Dr. Greger's books from public libraries. What a great way to share this information!

Dr. Greger is absolutely the best! Thank you for this presentation! Although, I own and have read "How Not to Age" I still enjoy the presentations. All his books are great, but this one is the best!

Really appreciate how hard Dr. Greger must be working. Over and beyond probably. I hope he's alright and gets some rest. Excellent information as always. Dr Greger leads and others follows but damm I knew I should have stocked up on Wheatgerm 😂 out of stock 😮 all the best Dr. Greger.

I saw him in person in nyc have a photo with him. He is tall lean and his skin is gorgeous. Really I was star struck! We already know he is smart and funny. Wow. You are following the right guy. So grateful for all he teaches. I’ve been doing this for 5 years and it has improved every aspect of my life. No meds for anything except taking B12 and D3. Some sea veggies for omegas

I love to make my own fresh hummus from organic chickpeas whith a fresh clove of garlic - and no added oil and eat it with my leafy greens or spread it on whole grain rye bread - it’s easy and delicious 💚💚💚

Is white tea better than green tea?

    • @WayneThomas-v6u
      @WayneThomas-v6u 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes, don’t remember where I read it, but sure it was a reliable source. Incidentally I
put green tea bags in my cheek kinda like
the chew tobacco as also green tea helps prevent tooth decay. White tea probably better able to tolerate as less bitter (?)

I think there are miniscule differences between types of tea, if at all. Differences between types on caffeine, thein, all kinds of antioxidant levels is Bs. Tea varietals, parts of tea used, picking season, terroir, differences in processing, packaging and storage type and quality, and some more minor differences are much more important.
Researchers buy 3 Lipton or twinnings bags and compare them. No real life relevance.
It's like with all other things: drinking tea is better than not.
Regular Exercise is better than none at all, types of exercise is secondary, the best one is what you like and keep up with long term.

"stay away from eggs" - isn't egg healthy in recent research and we're encouraged to consume more eggs? The messages are ever so confusing!

It's just the way he talks, it put me off at first too but I've been following him for half a year now and he's really great in conveying a ton of scientific literature to the masses. Give him a chance.

Hes not that boring monotone voice..Doctors tend to have....
      Yawning....
His voice wakes u up and is invigorating...to the point where ur brain is tuned in....
Very energetic and one can see he ❤ helping people with their diet for longevity 😊

He prerecorded his visual presentation and he makes these odd pauses when he's waiting for his visual presentation to advance. It's ... not a good system.

The book is about how you don't want to age. Preventing the age related things that are changeable. It's the best book on nutrition I have read in my 37 years of reading and studying nutrition.

Of course it's titled to sell and get attention, but what it means is you want to age more like wine or dark tea and less like picked fresh kale and spinach leaves. Of course only to some degree it is achievable.
