I know this should be about the music, but the old NES artwork for games was so killer! Love how Dracula is laughing at Simon Belmont just taunting him and game players to come into his lair and test their luck! Also the Conan the Barbarian version of Simon is wicked awesome! Makes me wanna go to the gym, toss on a loin cloth and break out my toy Indiana Jones whip! HERE I COME DRACULA YOU FIEND!
***** I know. Granted I like the artwork for SotN because it works well for the time period of that game. However, seeing some bishonen face plopped on a muscled badass just never sat well with me when the same style was applied to Simon's character. I feel the same way for Trevor although it's a bit less jarring of a transition.
Its cool! Everyone has their thing. I always liked the Barbarian look on the first Castlevaina because it gives it that origins feel like the Belmonts and Dracula came to rise during a time when man wasn't so advanced in the world and that killing Dracula was going to ultimately cost a person their life. You had a sword and a whip, the only other weapon you had during that time was to be ripped like Conan to match strength. Over time the Belmont family grew and became better vampire killers and adopted better tech to help serve their cause. That's how I look at it any way!
Positive: The way you took the time to record this is straight up legit. That's bad ass, and I'm glad I got to hear this. Negative: Those sweeps are sloppy. Clean 'em up.
Now that I've played Castlevania 2 all the way through, I'm much more familiar with the soundtrack. All of these are good! Did you find them all together as an mp3, or did you edit that yourself? I found them on the Dwelling of Duels site, but separately. dwellingofduelsDOTnet/duel.php?dir=11-S-Tornado_of_Solos&month=Tornado%20of%20Solos&img=ToS
Greetings. I am working with some friends on a project involving a D&D interpretation of March Madness, and I'm looking into finding some music. This first track would be a dream to use. I am looking into the copyright on this music, but am also wondering if you might be willing to allow us permission to use your cover if possible. This is fantastic!
