2:09 - was that explicitly stated in the movie? Because I always seen Rein* as a gay character who has feelings for the pregnant girl in the movie. So I guess if it is stated that that guy was her ex boyfriend, we know why
I would definitely have to rewatch the movie to give you specifics BUT FROM WHAT I RECALL from watching it twice it's HEAVILY IMPLIED (the information is online as well, but just focusing on what's in the film). When we first see Rain meeting up with the crew we see photos and it's implied that they were close. In the same scene Kay tells Rain that she missed her and "and I know my brother missed you too". There are a few moments throughout that imply their intimacy and from Rain's reactions I FELT like it was very much reading as exes. To be honest though, I can see where you're coming from but I read it more as close friends or sisters via Rain's (past) relationship with Tyler. I actually really wish if this was the intention for Rain and Kay to be more (imo I don't think it was but IF it was) that it was more explicitly shown because representation in a movie like this would have been incredible.
@@A.Rocket.Review I seen her brother missing Rain because he has always kinda had a crush on her but Rain isn't fully out yet and has more feelings for his sister than she does him. She might even be with him and closeted but actually pining for his sister. But as you say, I would also need to rewatch it. Great reply btw, was worried at the end of your comment it was going to go off on a tirade of silly "GAY PEOPLE IN FILMS IS STUPID INCLUSION" lmao Good video too!!! Keep it up
Omg, I'm glad you like my response and honestly if I was coming at it from that POV then I would need someone to check up on me! I am all for representation, diversity and telling more stories than what's become "the standard"! 🙌🏼 I think your impression is totally valid! I read online that AFTER the film was released people were wondering if Bjorn was the father of Kay's baby and I was like "wtf are they talking about" but it was something that was implied (and later confirmed by the director). It was something I didn't catch at all. I'm rambling a little but my point is I can see where your coming from and Rain's intense care and focus on Kay could be seen as more than just friends! I really appreciate that and your comments! I love seeing other people's takes, thoughts and opinions! 🤗
@cloverobrien8549 when that SPECIFIC thing came on screen I was like "HUH?" 😭 the movie looked incredible up to that point AND AFTER. It just stuck out too much in an otherwise ✨️BEAUTIFUL✨️ movie.

The cgi is absolutely the most horrifying part of the movie
