    you need to keep it in auto mode for auto mode to ramp up or down the fan speeds to keep your temps in check if you put it back to on mode it just runs the fan at the one speed you set it to

      Pretty sure a t4 is too small for a 4x4 unless you’re using shitty lights or the ambient temperature in the room the tent is in is well under 70 degrees I have a t6 Exhausting a 600w hps/mh with cooling tube and 12 inch carbon filter in a 4x4 with another t6 at the bottom as an intake fan and both have to remain steady between speed settings of 4-8 to keep temp between 74-79 degreees with lights on ambient temperature of room tent is in constant 68-71 degrees these are facts no way the cfm is anywhere near where it should be in your set up

    • @vrab.
      @vrab. 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shaun Osborne - inside a grow tent, if you stop the air extraction (fan turns off) then the plants perspiration stays in the air increasing the humidity fairly quickly. So if you set a low humidity disconnect, the fan turns off. Similarly, if the temps get too high extracting more of the hot air out of the tent will lower the temperature. So there’s a temp sensor for a fan booster.
      Hope that helps!

      Bro it's not a smart controller lol they disabled the smart settings on this controller and are selling a new smart controller do basically this thing just monitors humidity and temperature. It doesn't adjust speeds in any way EXCEPT if you set your high alarms. This will kick the fan into maximum power. Also the high and low setting should.be programmed backwards to get it to work the way you want .

    Great video! Thank you for posting this. I tried reading through the comments so I wouldn’t have to ask you but I didn’t find what I was looking for so I thought I’d ask and see if you know. On the Auto setting, how do you trigger the fan to do anything beyond what you set it for under the ON setting? I have mine set for auto and the temperature does bounce around all over the place showing me it’s reading the temperature accurately but the fan speed never goes up or down. My current room temperature is 70 degrees and my setting trigger is at 83 degrees. I tried putting my trigger at 65 degrees to see if this would make it change my fan speed but nothing seems to be changing this fan speed. Do you happen to know how I can get my fan speed to auto change based on temperature? I wish there were better instructions in the package but unfortunately, there were not.

      What is your humidity level set at? It seems on both my systems that the humidity matters more than the heat to the controller. I could be completely wrong but it seems to me it will kick in sooner for the humidity levels than heat levels and at higher rpms as well. In my opinion ac infinity needs to program the boxes a bit differently with better trigger features and better fan speeds. For my setup if the humidity goes over by 1 or 2 degrees it hits fan speed 6 automatically which doesn't seem cost effective in power consumption.

      @un4givable the trick is..... set your auto settings to your ideal temperature. (I like 27°c) (humidity 55%) below those settings the system shuts the fan off. BUT set your alarm settings say a few degrees higher. When it hits (27°c or 55% humidity) the system will go to roughly fan speed 6. If it hit 30°c my alarm point , the sound goes off and fan will increase up to 10. Now...if you want a constant airflow, put it in on mode, set fan speed (constant) then set your alarm temperature and humidity the highs and lows then it will take over and shut off or speed the fans up for you. Hope that helps.

    • @Toohighfatness
      @Toohighfatness  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm told if you hook 2 fans to 1 controller it will run them both at the exact same speed , but you can place one on the tent as an exhaust and one as an intake but it would be 100% air exchange if you dont slow the air flow down by other means which would only create low co2 levels. If your 2 tents run the same environment and schedule it would work but I'd just get separate systems.

      You can have it by itself for cooling/exhausting the room without the filter. I used the filter to remove scent and to clean the air for recirculating the air back into the tent. Currently I'm just exhausting the air outside no filter.

    • @LAndre2874

      I wouldn't hook the filter up until there is an actual scent otherwise your kind of just wasting some of the Charcoal. I had mine hooked up in the beginning and a fellow TH-camr suggested I unhook it until things start to ramp up a little bit. I put panty hose over my intake to prevent any passed from being sucked in and one over my vent to prevent any from flying /walking in.

    • @Toohighfatness
      @Toohighfatness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can definitely hook up 2 but here is something to look into first.... the model in this video is the old controller..the power to it is much like a laptop computer power cord. That/this system you can only hook up a identical fan size (t4~s4) (t6~s6) and so on. But with the newish style you can mix and match fan size. Unfortunately with hooking up 2 fans to 1 controller both fans will run exactly the same speed but the fan size depicts the cfm of intake or exhaust. I've seen the brand new 2021 controller is out and far better control over the fans but I haven't had the luck of getting one yet.

      When fan comes on, what temp does it know to shut off at if there's no low temp specified/set?

    I can’t get it “parked” in auto- it goes from on, to off to timer and then just the settings for each of the triggers but I want it to come on when the heat reaches 80 for example- when I set it for 80 it literally does nothing but sit at the screen asking to set the high temp out of I scroll it just goes back to ok in the speed it was last... surely it’s not that difficult but I’m not getting it!

    Anyone use this to put air into their tent, sadly I’m doing mycotek spicy motherfn peppers but does anyone use these to put air into their tents? I got two and I plan on sending air through with scrubbed air, then have it connect to where I have my peppers that are getting close to getting plucked, haven’t installed the second to exhaust air out but after a few adjustments With these fans I should be able to control the temps real easy. I have a question about The timer for the fan, if u set the timer say for 25 minutes does that mean it will turn off after 25 mins then back on in 25 minutes and so on? Also is there a setting to where when the temps get past a certain point I can have it auto turn on?

    • @Toohighfatness
      @Toohighfatness  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, unfortunately I'm completely inexperienced with the timer function, but I'm sure it will only run through the time set once. I've never used timer before. For your second question you need to hit those 3 line buttons until it's in auto mode then continue pushing it until it's on high heat/ and low heat setting. Then push the arrows up or down to see it to your ideal settings. And once you have it set just leave it there or continue to set humidity levels and alarms.
