Ohhhhh Curse of the Sea Rats is a must for us. We're always on the hunt for 4 player beat em ups! This is why I love your eShop hidden gem videos. I may never have discovered this otherwise. Elderand is 100% up my alley. Even though it's tough as long as I can save lots I'll certainly dive in. You had me at Castlevania SOTN. Of course the same goes for Eiyuden Chronicles looks amazingly good too. I might need to dive into this as I'm a much bigger action RPG fan. Definitely lots of choices here. Love it Jay!
Wow, this is probably the best collection of eshop games that I have seen. Everything looks good! Very happy to see Montezuma's Revenge on your list. I know I played that a lot as a kid. Curse of the Sea Rats went straight onto the wishlist. Probably won't get Legion of Doom since Vampire Survivors is on my phone but everything else has gotten my interest. I really need more free time in my life to get to all of the great games you keep recommending.
Nice array of games here! I've been playing that version of Montezuma's Revenge on NES, but was considering getting the Switch port because it seems like it would benefit from some modern features to get through it. Adding a bunch of these to my ever-growing wishlist...

Elderand? It's Wanderer from ys II = super tough action rpg, sidescrolling :P on SNES Ys 3 was so tough and needed so much levelling crouching in from of slimes... Not 3 games needed mate : is WYsIII
Yeah, I own Ys III, and these are vastly different games. If you want to just go with 'side scrolling action rpg' then yeah, I suppose everything is derivative of Battle of Olympus or Adventure of Link, but the game is far more methodical and challenging than Ys III was.

@@SquarePegs just realized it also has thast Faxanadu depth as you said, less caught to the groudn by gravity than ys, and I'm jsut teh briefs moments you showed don't tell teh beginnings of the story :P

Legion of Doom? Where are the spiked shoulder pads? Where is hawk? Where is animal? Not sure that this one is going to give me much of a rush.

A good thing to do would be to tell people how hard most of these games are.I couldn’t play most of them,they are way to hard to play.
