I wanted to share my excitement with you this morning, Jessica. I always have to wait until the afternoon for your videos because I live in the UK. This morning, I am watching it as soon as you've posted, in the morning, because I'm in the US, in Kansas City, visiting my son and daughter in law. It's my first visit to the US and I'm having a wonderful time. Enjoy your Sunday, God bless. X
Morning Jessica ❤️😊 I look forward to Sunday morning ,, it’s the beginning of the work week, and I’m harvesting and cleaning up my gardens for their winter slumber. It’s been a busy week 😄. Saturday is Sabbath day and Sunday is family day. I usually make my bread for the week on Sunday and the weekend uses up all the left overs - AND have morning coffee with YOU 🥰. Have a blessed day.
It is noon or closer to 1pm Sunday when we get a new Jessica's video. She is a positive influencer. I am so grateful for that 😊 God bless your family and thank you 🌹🌹🌹
@@marypat7196 I mean, come to Europe and see 1or 0 children families and ladies busy with jobs not homes. Little knowledge on homekeeping, little or no faith . So yes, I was sweet and I have learnt so much from this positive woman 😇
I will need to try the beans. I usually can plain beans but the addition of the seasonings would be great after a work day. I was fortunate enough to have an elk donated to me so I saved the bones and made the most wonderful bone broth. I was thrilled to have that gel in mine as well. Feeling more motivated even after canning all summer. Great info to change up my pantry.
I Can hardly wait for your new baby 😂 been watching you for a while even went way back on your videos, you are such a Godly inspirational woman, wife and mother. May God bless you and everything you care for.
Hi Jessica, I know you're so glad to have those great winter meals ready. Great to see the kids. Ms Hannah has grown into a little lady to fast. Love your family.
You ALWAYS make me want to can more. I loved having chicken, pork and beef on hand but now see I would probably love having almost-meals on the shelf even more! Your such a good instructor and inspirator, also!.
Beans are so easy to can! The first thing I ever tried pressure canning was your refried bean recipe. Thank you for the tip on soaking overnight. You always have good ideas for meals (or starters) in a jar. Keeping you and your growing family in my prayers.
Thank you Jessica for sharing these great meal tips and canning videos. Love seeing your beautiful family. The kiddos are growing so fast. Blessings to you and your family ❤
I also love using my food processor to whiz up my onions or cabbage, etc any time I don’t want chunks in the jars. Can I chop everything, yes, but this is so much faster and your food still tastes wonderful. Thanks for sharing your recipes. I can’t wait to try them!
I have done some canning, water bath only. Watching your channel has given me ideas on preserving foods other ways. I will purchase fresh vegetables, especially onions, peppers and mushrooms. I will slice and chop and freeze them. With prices being high I take advantage of great sales and local farm stands. My son loves corn so I froze corn on the cob and kernel. I am looking forward to apple season, and a few jelly canning this winter. Finally having a small chest freezer has given me storage to buy in bulk meats and vegetables when there are great deals. So during the pantry challenge I was able to use items I almost forgot I had , buried in the refrigerator freezer. Cleaning that small freezer out and arranging baskets in the chest freezer makes life more organized for me. Now I am working on my dry good staples and other items purchased at the store. Making my pantry more organized . I hate paying full price for foods, so seeing great sales I will stock up on stuff. It all helps.
Good afternoon my dear friend, yum, these meals looked delicious, you are such a smart cookie to get this all done before the baby!! Hope you are feeling well!! Have a blessed week!
I put my broth in the fridge in a straight edge container. The fat cap can easily be popped off, cleaned and used for cooking, baking or soap making. I save all meat fats.
I just defrosted chicken to prepare and you have inspired me. Little Hanna, awwww. And Levi, my little man..awwww. All of your children, they have a special place in my heart; and so do you. *Hugs*
Woohoo... great ideas! I have enjoyed canning when I am able to push it to the fall/winter months. It's a double blessing to warm the house and make easier summer meals. Keeping a good rotation on the chest style freezer, too. Stuff used to get lost in there...
I just found your channel. I’m looking forward to trying your pinto beans recipe. I’m a plant based eater so I’ll be searching for more plant based recipes from you. Thanks for sharing!
I look forward to seeing your videos every Sunday morning. Thanks for all the knowledge you have given to me 🙏💞 God bless you and your beautiful family ❤️ much love from North Carolina 😚
Good Morning Jessica. Really liked how you can beans and meat that can be used in different ways. What a great way to add to the options for winter meals. Its so encouraging to see the many ways you use the end of the summer tomatoes as they accumulate so nothing is wasted. I have never used garlic scapes and am looking forward to trying some next year as they seem to be so versatile. I don't have a freeze dryer but I'm sure I can find many uses for dehydrated scapes. A fun fresh spice option for those warm winter meals. Have a wonderful week! Thank you .
Yesterday I canned up 12 qts of homemade pasta sauce. Today will be day one of sweet gherkins prep and hopefully can 6 qts of chili. I have lemon slices in the dehydrator. I try to preserve at least one thing every day.
I’ve always been terrified of pressure cookers, but at age 69, I bit the bullet and purchased an electric one. Your videos are amazing! I’m so excited to try some of these recipes. There’s no better feeling than knowing you’ve done your best to provide for your family! Looking forward to more canning tutorials ❤ PS… your children are adorable 🥰
bonsoir et bravo a vous pour toutes ces ces conserves et préparations je vous suis depuis des années et je suis encore une fois fière de vous bravo et bonne continuation 💗
I love how much your dress matched your onions in this video :) It gave me such joy, I know that sounds ridiculous...lol. I'm definitely going to be making up a batch of spicy beans, I've got several jalapenos from the garden, some are going to be pickled, some dehydrated and some put into some beans! :) Thanks for the ideas, Jessica! Have a lovely week!!
I just made your apple pie filling yesterday, but instead of making the goo with all water, I used half fresh homemade apple juice because well, there are too many apples lol. It came out AMAZING! Game changer, I recommend it! ❤️
I am always inspired by your videos and the way you manage your family's food needs. I can no longer eat meat, except for chicken. I appreciate the variety in your videos. There is always something for me to learn. Thanks
I bought forjars lids, funnels, and two can openers ( one for a friend). I did use your code for 10% off. Thank you 😊 I really like forjars products. Hannah your is soaking in all mama is doing. Learning at your knees ❤😊
You are such a wealth of knowledge. I have learned so much from you and I put it into practice getting more skilled at it as I go along. My husband’s youngest brother ( he’s 26 ) eagerly soaks up all the information and skills I then pass down to him. He in turn can pass that down to his children. I find it comforting that these skills are not being lost to time.
Wonderful meals as always! Thank you for the inspiration! I love seeing little Hannah and the antics of your other son, siblings hanging out. ❤️🙏🏻Val C
Blessed Sunday, Jessica! I haven’t canned beans yet and very much enjoyed seeing how easy it was with your recipe! As always, you look healthy and more rested! Have a wonderful week and sending hugs and prayers to all!
Good morning! Many blessings to you and your family ! I am learning how to can , thank you! You are a blessing ! Please pray for me my intentions! Amen ❤
That was amazing! I really want to do this one day, myself. I was surprised to see the change in the chicken jars after the process... didn't expect it to be that dark! Anyway, amazing. Thank you for blessing me today! I am immobile due to an injury and this brought me joy. 😊❤GBU
Everything looked yummy! It's so good to step back and see all your work and it's going to make things easier when baby comes. I'm pulling for December 3rd birth date cuz that's my birthday!😊
Good morning Jessica. We have a big project going on this weekend so I'll catch up tomorrow and see your video then. The title alone makes me want to sit down right now and see it! but everybody is about to go out and start without me, lol. Have a great day!
Jessica have a look into folic acid sprayed on grain crops or added into flour products. Seen Italy doesn’t spray for it as far as I’m aware. Might be something looking into as I never knew this until recently.
Do you discard the water that the beans have soaked in to help eliminate flatulence before you can them? I've never canned beans other than green beans but when I make soup beans for a meal my mom taught me to soak 8 to 12 hours, discard the soaking water, cover with fresh water and cook. Just wondering how you do it. 😊
Beef is such an amazing nutrient dense creation. I remember we started out raising hogs therefore pork was all we had for nearly two years. That first bite of beef was like heaven. Don't get me wrong, I love bacon but, I need steak.
I wanted to share my excitement with you this morning, Jessica.

One of my sisters lives in Kansas 😊❤
So endearing to see baby girl already learning from her mama. She’s so attentive to what you’re doing.

Hannah looks so adorable watching her mumma.
Thank you for sharing these recipes. I'd really love to see more meals in jars. Be blessed, and have a great week 💞💖💞
Sutton Daze and Ruthann Zimmerman have some great videos! Both meals in jars, and just how to use what you've canned for quick meals.
You are such a pregnant busy bee! I love all you share with us! You make canning look so easy.
Thank you so much!
Hanna being curious and peeking in the jar cracked me up. She's gotten so big! Great video as usual❤.
