I’ve been camping at the ruins and drinking pond water which is a big no no.. lm still early in game .. fractured both my arms and leg, sprain my ankle and even got parasites within the first few hours, I’m thinking I should relocate near a stream it might bring better luck 😂
quick tip: yes it been a while since i commented on one of the Open Country Videos. But: when you have Recipe Pined onto your main screen as a task. The Hunter vision will filter Everything else out and help you find it.

Heard your “outpost” only won’t degrade if it has the lantern upgrade. Is that true? For “views” purposes… If you made a video covering this already, lemme know which one and I’ll check it out.
Thanks bud! Yes I forgot to put that in the last video too actually where we upgraded a full camp. It becomes non-degradable when you upgrade it with tarps. Advanced outpost. And tarp cover. Then it's good. Your water collector is also a tarp. And My growing stations and stash spots have never degraded after I've done this! P.s. the lantern is at Wayne Cabins north of the RV spot in tunmus Valley. I'll remember to put that in my next video.

It'll also include a little clip from my last stream where there was not only Chip. But TWO more Bull Elks. I downed Chip. And both bulk Elks. And got 2 Big Game trophies when I skinned them! (If you go directly north of the pond. And sit on the ridge. Elk are always in the opening through the trees. You just gotta sneak up there without them noticing before, before you scare them!) That'll mean more next video!
If you need help finding things on this game then there's something wrong. Just roam around activating your hubter sense and use your own common sense also. Maybe upgrade the radius of hubter sense if your really struggling

Do my homework? I've completed the game twice on ps4 so I'm aware of the issues. I had no problem finding chip, just listen out for him and follow his tracks if he flees. Maybe you should read a comment thoroughly before commenting on someone's intelligence. My comment was about sticks, stones moss and worm ect. I didn't mention anything about ol chip. Idiot!

I've heard the calls of the people and I'll throw in Chips wearabouts in the next video (including a clip from last stream where there was TWO MORE Bull Elks right beside Chip! I downed Chip and then the other 2. And got 2 Big Game Trophies when I skinned them!) Coming soooooon!!!
If you mean the chests at the cabins and abandoned buildings. I don't think they do respawn. But the update yesturday made it so you can make rope from animal pelts. So hunting did become more viable with that.. but I never did notice them actually respawn. So I'm going to say no. They don't respawn. I'll do some more research on that. But really, You can have more than enough rope. Cloth. And tarp for multiple fully upgraded camps by mission 10 anyways. So don't really need them to respawn
Also if you use stash spots in the same area. (Like tumnus valley) if you put stuff in the cabin stash spot by your RV. You can access that stuff in the stash spot by the water tower.. so keep your backpack light during your travels
Need to call the game "Branch searching sim" the entire object of the game: find a a whole entire singular 1 fucking branch in the span of an hour and you win! The most ridiculous shit I've been through watching all of my bars deplete while walking around finding not a single branch to make a fire or camp.
I'll have to try looking around the Birch trees, even though I'm crazily enough; 99% sure branches grow on all trees 💀 idk who thought of that for game design. Thanks for the tip man
Haha agreed buddy! I wrapped the game up through streams and Uninstalled. But I'm pretty sure there has even a hatchet implemented. You can get branches and leaves from any trees by using your hatcher (I think it's always equipped but I could be wrong! ) makes me wanna install and run through the game again though! I'm going yo look at the updates since I last played. See how much else has changed ! Good luck!

You can also use a hatchet and strike the trees for branches and logs
