Let me know how you get on if you get a kit, I hope you enjoy it ! It’s definitely not for me but it was kind of fun to try. That’s so kind of you, thank you ❤
Thank you Sadie for another lovely upload with lovely Henry. I thought your felting effort was much better than the example on the box. I once bought a felting kit but the instructions left me scratching my head so it ended up being donated. Glad that Violet is making the most of her break and had a lovely trip up to London. Parveen xx
oh, now that is really too kind Parveen! I laughed so much at my attempt V the one on the box. If you want to see a really amazing felting crafter, then click on @MrsPinkyCrazyBagLady (she has left a comment here), her work is amazing. I'm in total awe. Violet is loving this pause between uni, she's out in Brighton today, she's certainly making the most of her time! x
@@justplainsadie Thanks and I definitely will look at her work - I shall blame you if I end up being inspired to try again! How lovely that she commented and her opinion as a felter must count! This break is a lovely long one and it is great that she is enjoying the time. Well, I am off to watch your next video - what a treat! Parveen xxx
Hi Sadie, I thought you did a magnificent job with the felt cat. It doesn’t look easy! Although, I loved when kitty head looked like Chewie… I’ve always been a super Star Wars fan! Henry looks handsome as ever. Blessings and hugs 🥰
Thanks Wynne, it really wasn’t as easy as I hoped! But it gave me a laugh. I remember your Star Wars love ❤️! I shall pass on your comment to Henry Cat, but he’s getting a bit big headed. Started walking around in sunglasses and saying he’ll let me know when he’s ready for his close up! 🎥 🍿 😜
Hi Sadie, from a totally rainsoaked and stormy north Italy!!! Weather atrocious, just like the UK. I loved your efforts with felting, as someone mentioned you could hang him on your Christmas tree. Love your videos they really cheer up a gloomy summer. Have a good week. Hugs Ro (n.w. italy)
ah yes, it sounds like our weather is very similar to each other! That's kind of you to say that, but it's ok, I know it's not a talent I was meant to have. Good laugh though! I love it when I'm told my videos cheer someone up, it just about makes my day! x
I love your hand felted cat! You could hang it on your Christmas tree. We have a couple of black felted labradors that I hang on the tree- not made by me though, they were in the EB sale. No mow may also continues here - I'm attempting to re-wild the garden & so far we've got lots of pretty things coming up.
You are kind, but it's not very good at all! I couldn't stop laughing once it was done, it looked nothing like the picture on the box! But it's ok, I've tried, I know I really shouldn't do it again, and hopefully it's given everyone a laugh. I'm sure your EB labradors are beautfiul. I love no mow May/June/July! Just as I think it's looking a bit straggly and needs a good cut, I spot something pretty and tell Bill to leave it for a little big longer. At this rate it'll be No Mow 2024! x
a very good point! who did that? Who thought 'here's an idea, I'll stab a serrated needle into felt and see if I can fashion it into another shape'! who? and why? I've seen some people create amazing things with felting, sadly, I will not be one of them! x
Good morning, I have kept a patch of the lawn going wild and I also see different wildflowers and grasses. I believe the purple flowers are ''self heal'' A tea from the flowers can soothe a sore throat.
ooh, that's very interesting, thank you for that Linda. I know one flower we have in the front garden is a type of orchid, and that's never shown up before. I need to make sure I get a little video of it while it's still there!
Gosh, that was a big seagull, wasn't it? I quite like your little felted cat -- he has a lot of character! Not as much as Henry Cat, of course. I'm so impressed with your Christmas/birthday organization...I really must do better! xo
massive! Even the normally bold and brash magpies were subdued and looked tiny in comparison. Ha ha, the felted cat is hilarious! But I gave it a try and if it made anyone watching the video smile or laugh, then it was time well spent. Ah yes, now is the time to make a start. What really gave me a push was when I bought cheese in the supermarket recently, the date said September and all of a sudden I realised the Ber months are creeping up quickly, and once they arrive Christmas is here in a flash! x
I AM impressed and just may get a felting kit myself!! Love your content and calm voice.❤❤

I admire your efforts with the felted cat! I’d just like to know who sat down one day and dreamed up such a craft!!
