Old video, but worth a comment. I remember reading a post a while back explaining this sound. The poster claimed it was without doubt a process called "pigging". More than likely "smart pigging", where a "PIG" or "Pipeline Inspection Gauge", is run through remote oil or gas pipelines and can absolutely make these types of resonant sounds.
That sounds suspiciously like it's coming from an amplified source, i.e. speaker in an enclosure. It's sure eerie sounding, but too much tunnel or hallway modification applied for it to maintain any organic sensation.
That’s definitely someone hill climbing on a snowmobile. The part you think is laughter is the rider feathering the throttle. Later in the video you can hear him hold the throttle open for several seconds. We hear that exact same noise constantly in the winter from snowmobiles running a mile or two away from our position. It was a bit spooky the first time we heard it and until we realized what it was.

There are hundreds of other videos with the same sounds. Every video like this there are ignorant people in the comments claiming the people are liars faking it. It makes them feel safe to claim it’s all fake.
They weren't reacting to the sounds as they were happening though; this is very evident in the video. During the sound they both speak casually; I know if I was there and heard it, I'd freeze and stare at the other person with wide eyes without saying a word. And when he said "yeah... that was loud" and they started walking, it was a good while after the sound had stopped. During the sound neither of them reacted.
I've heard something similar to that here in Finland (Ylitornio), but the sound was heard just once. It sounded like it came from the sky. And there's no mines, no nothing around here that could possibly make that sound. That was months ago though. Scary.
You would be very surprised at the sounds you could hear from machines carving into the earth just on the other side of the woods. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a company hidden somewhere doing something making those sounds...

The only indication of it being fake for me personally would be the fact that the second time or first(don't remember) my first reaction would be to instantly stop talking. He seemed to go over it like he knew it was coming.

Really frightening sound, I heard aswell myself a couple of times! I live close to a barn with cattle. When new cattle arrive, they "talk" to each other resulting in exactly (!) this eery sound. First time I heard it, I thought of a scene in Lost haha. So I guess when cows can make noises like this, moose can do it just as good... Definitely nothing that cannot be explained! greets

They live in drainage pipes and inside Old mines and caves so when they decide to scream there's that echo that comes with it from being underground or inside a large hole that creates that echo

There's also recent reports of something like this in the US. The Ireland incident happened on 20th June 2023.

Simple explanation: There is some company cutting wood with their big machines miles away, in a quiet forest the sound of a machine that is miles away can be heard, the weird sound is happening because of the echo that the forest is causing

Just a theory; It could be a storage facility under the ground you were on. Say it was large enough to warrant hanging catwalks and some type of inner heating. The changes in temperature could be warping the metal.

For a more detailed and scientific explanation of this look up the seven trumpets of the apocalypse explained. That is where I got this information. The sound is of the earth moving. It always is moving and making sound at a frequency humans can't hear. When this happens the earth is moving ether slow enough or fast enough, I don't remember, to have the right vibration. The reason I connect this video with the trumpets of apocalypse video is because something similar was used as another example. timing on when the sounds were recorded by the camera and when the witnesses mention hearing the sounds are off, discernably, at least twice. Once when the girl mentions "did you hear that" and the last time you hear the sound, he mentions it's close by and they start moving, but he mentions hearing it after the sound has already ended versus right when the sound starts. It's a little sus.
This is no joke, my thermos brand coffee cup makes that exact sound as the coffee is cooling inside the cup, and the cup is sucking air because of the drop in pressure as the cup cools.. it drove me crazy quite a few times trying to figure out what that sound was. I finally figured it out one night when I picked up my coffee cup to take a swig, and I opened the latch with my thumb to take a sip, the sound quit That is the exact sound.. I've spent so much time in the woods it's still a part of me 17 years later. That was no animal. I can say that with 100% certainty. If it was it wasn't of this earth. And that I can say with 100% certainty. No animal I have heard short of perhaps the savannas makes that sound. And the direction of the sound was clearly upwards.
I create sounds like this very easily with a guitar (or keyboard) and many effects boxes. That said, I’m not sure what this is. It does sound analog as opposed to digital but then that can be altered to one or the other very easily anyway. I have perfect pitch (musicians will know how useful and uncommon this is) and it does sound slightly manufactured...or at least mechanical rather than organic; meaning it’s not an animal.
All jokes aside... I can understand why people would consider this the same as the typicall "Trumpets" that everyone heard a few years back... but I've seen a lot of those videos and they all seem similar...this one sounds like something entirely different. I'm dead serious, it sounds alive and as if it's laughing at first. The noises after the laughing sound sort of similar to the trumpets, but still very different. I feel crazy saying this, because while I'm a believer in a great many paranormal things, I mostly try to disprove everything I come across as "Oh that's just a Red Fox making that sound" or something... but this... I don't know what it is, but I don't think it's the same thing caushing the "Trumpet sounds in the sky" ...again, it seems alive and no joke... the first place my mind goes is Troll(s) That's way too big of a sound for something like Bigfoot or whatever, it's obviously not "Mountain Whales" or "Sky Whales" like people are jokingly commenting. I find it hard to be stumped as to what things could be, but I have no clue. Granted... unless the sound was completely fabricated and edited into the video, which is a possibility. I love this video though.
About 4 months ago to a 1yr. Oklahoma, resident's from a small town we're complaining of similar sounds. It turns out that there was an old oil field that needed servicing. Some investigator's went to see what was really happening as it turns out it was these oil drilling machines that we're making these noises. It was metal gridding against Earth's hard surfaces.
There are big natural gas pumps here where we used to go hunting and when they worked on them occasionally they would make this noise. Eerie as fuck! But the crew stopped by all the hunting camps they could see to let us know what it was. They were cleaning the actual pipes with a (this doesn't sound right but im sure this is what he called it) pipe pig. We went and watched it basically was like a barrel on an air compressor that pushed its way through the pipes and cleaned with air as it went along.
This is actually a newer mystery, where the earth (for reasons unknown) creates a "humming" like noise. People who have witnessed this mystery cannot say whether it came from the depths of the earth or the sky

I swear I heard a much scarier version of that sound in Turkey back in 2010 when I was 9 years old. It was 11 P.M. and I had two cousins with me, 2 years older and 1 year younger. My cousins hadn't heard the sound. We were in the garden of a house a little far away in the village where my grandparents lived. It's the only paranormal thing I've ever experienced in my life. The sound I heard lasted longer than the sound in this video and sounded more like human laughter. I heard a very loud laughter from the sky at two different times, about 10 seconds apart. I cried for hours because my cousins did not hear it and only I heard this terrible sound. The place where I heard the voice is Uzunhaci Village of Tekirdag province in Turkey. I'm 21 now, it's been 12 years. My cousins still remember this incident and I am very curious about the source of this sound.

At first I thought the dog was moaning then I thought a jet plane was coming and sounded terrible. This all happened at about 1 AM or so. The temp was 8 degrees F. By the time I tried to record the sound it had stopped.

Sounds like an ice fissure. In those valleys it would sound incredible. But that sounds very unusual almost like something that was heard in Romania a long time ago. Legends say their are dragons in the northern regions of the world. Could be them.

My blood runs cold just hearing it on youtube. Even though I haven't heard this in person, I have seen what I would call a ghost/other world spirit, and I tell people who laugh at me for saying that the same thing you're saying - just wait until you see one, it's like nothing you've ever experienced. timing on when the sounds were recorded by the camera and when the witnesses mention hearing the sounds are off, discernably, at least twice. Once when the girl mentions "did you hear that" and the last time you hear the sound, he mentions it's close by and they start moving, but he mentions hearing it after the sound has already ended versus right when the sound starts. It's a little sus.
This is no joke, my thermos brand coffee cup makes that exact sound as the coffee is cooling inside the cup, and the cup is sucking air because of the drop in pressure as the cup cools.. it drove me crazy quite a few times trying to figure out what that sound was. I finally figured it out one night when I picked up my coffee cup to take a swig, and I opened the latch with my thumb to take a sip, the sound quit

I've spent so much time in the woods it's still a part of me 17 years later. That was no animal. I can say that with 100% certainty. If it was it wasn't of this earth. And that I can say with 100% certainty. No animal I have heard short of perhaps the savannas makes that sound. And the direction of the sound was clearly upwards.

I create sounds like this very easily with a guitar (or keyboard) and many effects boxes. That said, I’m not sure what this is. It does sound analog as opposed to digital but then that can be altered to one or the other very easily anyway. I have perfect pitch (musicians will know how useful and uncommon this is) and it does sound slightly manufactured...or at least mechanical rather than organic; meaning it’s not an animal.
All jokes aside... I can understand why people would consider this the same as the typicall "Trumpets" that everyone heard a few years back... but I've seen a lot of those videos and they all seem similar...this one sounds like something entirely different.
I'm dead serious, it sounds alive and as if it's laughing at first. The noises after the laughing sound sort of similar to the trumpets, but still very different.
I feel crazy saying this, because while I'm a believer in a great many paranormal things, I mostly try to disprove everything I come across as "Oh that's just a Red Fox making that sound" or something... but this... I don't know what it is, but I don't think it's the same thing caushing the "Trumpet sounds in the sky" ...again, it seems alive and no joke... the first place my mind goes is Troll(s) That's way too big of a sound for something like Bigfoot or whatever, it's obviously not "Mountain Whales" or "Sky Whales" like people are jokingly commenting. About 4 months ago to a 1yr. Oklahoma, resident's from a small town we're complaining of similar sounds. It turns out that there was an old oil field that needed servicing. Some investigator's went to see what was really happening as it turns out it was these oil drilling machines that we're making these noises. It was metal gridding against Earth's hard surfaces.
There are big natural gas pumps here where we used to go hunting and when they worked on them occasionally they would make this noise. Eerie as fuck!
But the crew stopped by all the hunting camps they could see to let us know what it was. They were cleaning the actual pipes with a (this doesn't sound right but im sure this is what he called it) pipe pig. We went and watched it basically was like a barrel on an air compressor that pushed its way through the pipes and cleaned with air as it went along.
I think the devil is just reading a book of dark humour. I mean the guy has to have a laugh every now and again

I swear I heard a much scarier version of that sound in Turkey back in 2010 when I was 9 years old. It was 11 P.M. and I had two cousins with me, 2 years older and 1 year younger. My cousins hadn't heard the sound. We were in the garden of a house a little far away in the village where my grandparents lived. It's the only paranormal thing I've ever experienced in my life. The sound I heard lasted longer than the sound in this video and sounded more like human laughter. I heard a very loud laughter from the sky at two different times, about 10 seconds apart. I cried for hours because my cousins did not hear it and only I heard this terrible sound. The place where I heard the voice is Uzunhaci Village of Tekirdag province in Turkey. I'm 21 now, it's been 12 years. My cousins still remember this incident and I am very curious about the source of this sound.

At first I thought the dog was moaning then I thought a jet plane was coming and sounded terrible. This all happened at about 1 AM or so. The temp was 8 degrees F. By the time I tried to record the sound it had stopped.
