Excellent example of using oil paints to save money and get nice results!
Did you use any kind of pigment fixer for the ground up chalk? I'd love to try my own pigment powders in different colors, but I'm worried it'll wear off over time.
i sealed everything with a spray of varnish to keep the powdery look which fixers dull out
