Really great effect on that terrain. I have really warmed to the versatility of oils over this last year, and yes, it's fantastically cheap.

Did you use any kind of pigment fixer for the ground up chalk? I'd love to try my own pigment powders in different colors, but I'm worried it'll wear off over time.

i sealed everything with a spray of varnish to keep the powdery look which fixers dull out
