    Thank you for the tour Sir. I just moved to Wilmington and love the coast. The rest of the area is ok but the coast is the most beautiful. My favorite beach so far is Wrightsville Beach. I like it better than Topsail and Carolina Beach. Topsail is too long of an island to get to know and enjoy. Carolina Beach is a fun place with the bars and restaurants but very touristy. Wrightsville is just home to a bunch of lucky people who were smart with their money. I never been to OBX yet. Just wanted to thank you for the friendly tour. Felt like I was with a buddy.

    I used to own this beach house at 6:17 green color on left. Very nice secluded beach, miss it.

      Curious, why did you sell it? Super interested in owning something on the beach but need a owners perspective. Any input would help me make a decision. Thanks in advance

      @@dougschemmel99 I became terminally ill therefore made a decision to sell. Carova beach is very nice and affordable compared to Corolla homes. Good luck to you with your next beach house.

    I love the video man. I just bought a tacoma 4x4 with rear locker and has a small 2 or 3 inch lift and manual 6 speed. Im looking at different areas of the outerbanks that's in my price range and i also want to be able to drive out on beach alot. I think the area thats only accessible by 4wd is awesome and very beautiful houses and i love the horses as well

      Please focus on Daytona, FL and not the OBX. We have enough pollution and crowding here. Thank you.

    I'm thinking about moving down there for year around residency but need to check out the services like rescue squads, water/trash pickup to corolla area and what is open in the off season. I Know it's a good drive to the grocery store etc,. but i'm much older now and can't find anything cheaper to buy near Kill Devil hills. Things are way different than in the 60's there for sure. Thanks for the videos.

    Geez, just driving my Tahoe at cape hatters for a couple days I noticed a little rust on my hitch bar. I’d hate to be the owner of the Tahoe in the surf.

    Thought there's no passing on the beach and exceeding 15 mph....hmmm....learned something new.

      The speed limit from what one of the local police told us is 35 but 15 when people or other cars are around. We went in October and stayed 7 miles up the beach and I can say this, we were doing 45 at times... but most of the time we stayed around 20-30 mph.

    How much does it cost?
    Will be there this summer.
    When tide comes in you can't drive?? On beach

    • @Kcterry
      @Kcterry  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's around $50 per adult. Usually you can drive at high tide. All depends on how far the water is in

    I’m going on about two weeks and one day, and we are planning to see some horses during tours! What tour companies do you recommend for us?

      If you have a 4x4 just air your tires down and take your own vehicle. It won’t take you long to find the horses at corolla

    • @minttherainwing9162
      @minttherainwing9162 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hm, might try that.

    • @kingrider75
      @kingrider75 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      AmberFire please do. It’s intimidating at first but take your tires down to 18-20 pounds and use 4high, and you wont have one bit of trouble! The people who get stuck on the beach are those who refuse to air down. There’s a gas Station on Rt.12 that you can air right back up when your day is done👍 once you drive on a beach your hooked!

    LOL, these tours are so hypocritical. Always chastising people (publicly on their social media) to stay 50 feet away from the horses and not to "bother" them. So much for that. How far are they at 7:17? 10 feet tops? Guess they get special privileges since they are "helping" the horses by charging for tours. Ridiculous.

      I was thinking the same thing. God help you if your caught driving on the beach that close to one of em. I just go to Hatteras now and avoid all the horse traffic
