I damaged the connection for the battery by following this method it is very fragile. especially it was not necessary to remove it. or it's better to disconnect the connector which is on the battery itself it's simpler, but too late for me 😢😢😢
I've got an Asus E210MA with a Cracked screen and bought a secondhand Full top half lid including the screen it comes with long ribbon plug and a thin wire with plug on the end that go on the motherboard I'm wondering if any of them need soldering 🤔🤔🤔
I have a asus laptop e410ma-ek467ts with broken screen (someone sat on it...), do you know which replacement screen should I get and where? I noticed in your video N140BGA-EA4 C2, is it compatible with all Asus E410ma laptops? Is it high resolution? Thanks, and your video is great, very informative!
@@rickstechrepairs Thank you very much!!! I followed your video and managed to replace my broken screen. Here are some tips from my experience, for other non-professional guys like me, who will find this video: 1) my model is asus laptop e410ma-ek467ts 2) I found a replacement screen in aliexpress for about $50, it arrived safely and fast. At store : ZUIDID HY Laptop Screen Store, Shenzhen Hengye Electronics Co., Ltd., who suggested the fitting model. 3) When disconnecting the battery there is the small metal cover. It fell and I couldn't fit it back in place. I hope the battery will not disconnect without it. I put some tape on top as a replacement extra protector. 4) Notice not all screws in the back are the same, and also the two screws on the front are different, so track the screws indevidually, this may save you some time in reassembly at the end. 5) the screen stick to place with adhesive tape. My new screen arived without it, so I simply put it back in place relying on the remaining of the old tape (basically like shown in this video), well I hope it will hold in place. 6) In the beginning, I simply couldn't find a way to turn the laptop off completly. It always turned on when opened, no matter what options selected in settings. Maybe there's an option in BIOS, but I gave up, and went on to disconnecting the battery, as described in this video. It's not that easy (for non professionals) as I mentioned, but possible. 7) Good luck, if you're reading this, and next time be careful with this laptop, it's not that robust ;-)
After replacing my screen, its just black, it doesnt turn on, and i cant figure out what the issue is, im not even sure if it has to do with the screen, cause even in the old screen it didnt turn on, but you could see visible cracks in the glass. can anyone give me some advice? my untrained eye doesnt see any issue with it but its also my first ever "repair" or anything technical.

sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm struggling how to find a screen replacement. what's the model I need?
We have an E410 where the webcam doesn't work and was wondering if there was a separate connection. I assume that connector is just for the LCD panel?
Can you please tell me if the hp victims rtx 3050 ti 5800h can screen record with something like obs studio with an amd encoder?

the thin wire should just unplug, shouldn't need to solder
Thank you very much 😊
You're welcome 😊
Is it necessary to disconnect the battery before replacing the lcd?

most panels will be compatible along as you are using the right screen connector and screen size

How did you even use it if the old screen didn’t turn on? I think you did something wrong or this tutorial is flawed.
not sure sorry.
Try using the HDMI out connected to a TV to see if its powering up properly
