I was there as a kid in the 80's and as a teen, but I never saw it like from a tourist perspective ! Sleeping under the stars and felt more camping! We had to get used the well water which at 1st taste-tested horrible but becomes sweeter with every drink later on. It is one of my best childhood memory.
This experience looked like the true definition of an adventure! It's good to see how open you are to such but also, we love how honest and informative you are in your reviews.
Thank you very very much for the video. I actually dream of visiting the central island and if possible camp and enjoy the warm waters of the lake. Turkana is one of the unexploited places on earth with beautiful scenery.
Go for it! I can't stress that enough. Would have loved to camp out at Central Island, and would love to see someone do it. And true, about Turkana being unexploited, especially given the range of possibilities there.
Yeah, I'll skip museums any day. They might be interesting, though, in countries whose history I have absolutely no idea about. And I still have PTSD thinking about those sandals. Hahah
most underrated youtuber in Africa!!
