they do not care about explaining why they dont age, its a fucking aninmated tv show, they'll make jokes about it but they wont go out of the way to explain why it happens, this isnt that, if thats what you got from this episode you didnt pay attention properly or you havent watched it at all and have only seen this clip. the point of this episode is there is no good way to end this show, and they are saying shows that focus too much of trying to tie up all the loose ends or set up spin off series in the finale they end up leaving people disappointed.
The look on Bart's face is absolutely priceless!!! He realizes that the cake is basically a bomb and if he blows out the candles it would kill him and everyone in the room. As much as it was selfish for Bart, it was also very self sacrificing.
I think Homer's voice sounds like that because he's "not acting like himself" in the scene. Towards the end of the clip he sounds like Homer as always. Marge's voice has gotten more raspy over the years, she already had a pretty odd voice to be fair. Bart's voice is fine, I honestly always thought he was older because of the way he talks and his voice being a bit raspy. Though that also goes for Lisa too tbh.
