fyi, if you hold the home button for a few seconds it goes directly to carplay, no matter what menu you are in... Still wish there was a shortcut for that in the lower bar, but this is at least a solution.

Picked up y 2023 Bolt EUV today. It was manufactured and delivered much faster than I expected (got on the dealer list in the 1st week of January). Even though the dealership did a really good job of going over all the controls, this video was really helpful since some of the info slipped out of my brain. Since I lived in Ann Arbor from 1991 - 2006 I knew what "The Big House" was even though the navigation system did not.
Thanks for this: this made me understand that I have to set the defaults for manual operation in the climate screen, which seems counter-intuitive to me, but now that I know, it works.
Battery percentage can be found in the MyChevrolet app either from the car or on your phone.
I have a EUV Premier Bolt on order so your video is very helpful. I’m assuming I’ll be able to get the Wi-Fi service and lim looking forward to using built in Alexa and a Chevy Skills. I like the walk away lock I’ve seen where you can remote start but can you actually turn on the heat or air ie set Temperature? All the Bolt videos are positive and I’m really looking forward to getting mine. Thanks!

Great review of the controls. We ordered our EUV premier on Feb 01. Not sure when it will be delivered. As far as the screen settings, do they maintain their settings when you power off. I am not clear on the charging parameters. A lot of people say they only charge to 85% to extend the life of the HV battery. Is this what GM recommends. If you set the threshold charge rate on the vehicle, will it default to that setting always are do you have to set it everytime you charge. Some EVSE equipment have it built into their unit. For now, we are just going to use the EVSE that comes with the car. Thanks

just a tip: if you want to switch from energy screen to car play, you just need to press physical home button for a longer time. what I haven't figured out is that, what is the usage of pressing the check sign button (not turning the nob). if you know, please reply.
Most likely used to 'click' anything on screen just as if you'd tap the screen on an icon.

I've got a 2022 Bolt EUV Premier. When I give it a voice command to play something on Amazon music it goes to SiriusXM which I didn't want after the trial period, I don't do the traveling that I used to. When I insist on Amazon music it calls Amazon music help. There was a software update that made this happen. Frustrated in Wisconsin.
Do we lose chevy navigation when our onstar subscription runs out?
Does anyone know if with the built in navigation, if you set a long route does it tell you where to stop and charge or have any automatic data that shows that on the route? Or do you need to use other apps for that?

The dial might be useful if you are wearing gloves on a cold day and want to conserve battery and not use the heater.
What is the science behind only charging to 80 or 90%? Doesn't the manufacturer recommend 100% for optimum performance?
No, daily charging of 80 or 90% on a lithium-ion battery will help preserve its full capacity for a longer period of time. Can still charge to 100% when needed, and some of the newer battery compositions are okay to regularly charge to full.
My camera won’t switch back using the home button
If you’re going in reverse, it won’t allow you. If you manually select it, it will.

I just purchased a 2023 Bolt EUV. I'm happy with the car but for the navigation system having no voice prompts. Disappointing.
Wow. Am I just old or did you go through that really fast. I guess you wanted to highlight what the car CAN do and not instruct people how to do it.
