Is SLY COOPER Still Worth Playing in 2025?

In today's video I will try to find out if SLY COOPER and the Thievius Raccoonus is Still Worth Playing in 2025. This iconic stealth platforming franchise from the early to late 2000's has always facinated me. I never played it as a kid tho, so I should be able to form a fairly unbiased opinion about this PlayStation 2 classic.

I feel like the sly games were a lot of people’s golden standard for linear games. It often saddens me just how much open world games have taken over when remembering these games

I never played Sly Cooper as well but now that‘s it‘s on the PS5 I was going to. Thank you for the great review ❤ But I think I‘m not gonna buy it because of the hard mini games that you have to beat to move forward in the game 😂😭
It‘d be very cool if you‘d review Sly Cooper 2&3 as well, they‘re also now on PS5 👏🏼

you should play sly 2 and 3! sly 2 is probably the best game in the series.

Glad you enjoyed Sly Cooper. Hope you give the other games a try. 2 and 3 take a bit of a different take on the overall gameplay from the first game but manage to keep the vibes that the first were able to capture. It's really cool to see how far Sucker Punch has come since this first Sly game all the way up to now Ghosts of Tsushima

A old game with small hitboxes and alot of trail and error gameplay
It definitely triggers my donkykong country trauma

Honestly, starting with sly 2, it was very difficult going back to 1. Not worth for me tbh.

I haven't played the second one, but from what I've heard I think I can see why you think the first one isn't worth it lol
