Not only COVID but he headed many vaccines for serious diseases like Small Pox, Malaria, TB, Typhoid, Hepatitis etc. etc.
And yes, he also got PADMA SHRI award and other great honors just to be in front of the camera.

This is not only limited to pharmaceuticals, many Chinese products, mostly electronics like Mobiles, PCs, Laptops etc are all Chinese. Their products have dominated India since a long time.
