Have run this strat/tech yesterday and it sucks, because the beast sometimes need to be killed several times. Meaning maps will take longer and it interrupts the flow going zoom zoom. So I dropped the keystone.
I used the node last league just to stack the quantity and rolled maps with the map mod to have beasts. Combined with torment had great loot explosion rares. The shit part is that I sometimes went up to 20 stacks off a single mob constantly being recaptured, and it's the capture animation that takes centuries. Would spawn beyond bosses off 1 beast needing to be recaptured 20 times.
Veruso's Ambition unique boots give you ravenous skill from affliction. If you use it on a beast corpse you're gonna get 15% more dmg to beasts and 15% less dmg taken from beasts for the entire map
Sorry maybe i missed something put, do you also take a scarab to get the harvest in your map. you only have 10% chance of it otherwise, same goes for einhar? or does the 5 beast scarab automatically take einhar in your map?
@@Kazemikaze I think you need one Harvest Scarab to force Harvest on the map, if you're not using awakening. The tree only gives you 10% to contain the sacred grove.
I do not recommend anyone to do this just tested on 25 t16 8 mod red maps with 200% Q/R + alters its not worth it just do normal crop rotation and try to do the map in under 5 mins it is 2 times as profitable as this strategy if not more.
So i tried this with my RF chieftain cast when stunned build with my own twist, focussed on ignite duration, burning damage, damage overtime, deal damage faster (with support gems and unique ring i think?). My build can do all map mods except no regen and less recovery. Dropped endurance charges passives because of the blue altar debuffs on recovery. I can full clear map pretty reasonably in 6mins or so. Ran Jungle Valley and picking blue altars quant and rarity only. Lifeforce gain is as expected. Lotsa unique and fractured drops, that sells pretty decent. Around 25-40k gold per map. All this for an investment of 5-8c worth of scarabs. With other my builds like LS trickster, LS/FS slayer, it pales in comparison in clear speed. Lmao took like 8-10mins for my other builds to clear. My RF chieftain sucks at bossing, but in this map hes basically a god. Cuz with the buff from the freed beast, im doing anywhere from 20-40% MORE (not increased!) damage to beasts. Which the Jungle Valley boss, and harvest beasts are. Thanks for this atlas tree!
Nice find! As usual it’s unclear if the damage buff will apply to one’s minions? The wiki says it “grants the player stacks” which will help me with the reduced damage from harvest bosses at least.
Im sure, i tested it out by checking how much lifeforce you can expect on a map with 100 quantity and 0 hunters cunning - checking how much lifeforce you can expect on a 0 quantity map with 0 hunters cunning and then checking how much lifeforce you got on a white map with 20 hunters cunning (+100 quant) The map with 20 hunters cunning had the exact same lifeforce dropping as the scoured map with 0, and not the rare map with 100 quant
Its sounds extreamly bad for the harvest farming. If you need any help with harvest that picking up hard and deadly encounter like beasts is not the way to go :) not only you lose so much time on it but its more likely that you lose muliple portals to map on the way. Idk, but for me its sound more like if you strugle with map boss than kill few uberbosses so it will be easier for you.
thats not true. if you hit a hard rare beast, just jump ahead in the map, find a yellow beast and kill them, then go back to the rare beast with the inc damage and damage mitigation buffs from Hunter's cunning. you're hitting over 100% quant with this, which is insane since people run altars for a measly 15%. especially since most of the currency efficiency is pushed on Scarab of Awakening, this strat stays cost effective.
@@fearstreak7462 its not insane, 100 quant is nothing, its barely improve harvest drop, and it affect beasts so its not a global modifier. and as someone who can farm harvest everyleague with crazy speed i can tell you if you spend even 30 sec extra in map doing beasts then you already get way less out of it. If tou need that for harvest then you should consider play lower map tiers, its not as bigg difference unless you clear entire map with shrines just to get extra 2 or 3c worth of harvest juice. And as i said in most cases beasts are harder than harvest itself, so if you hit hard beast its usually an extra portal wasted to map bck we are talking about advice for those who strugle with harvest. there are many other good ways to improve your exelie with shrines, nico and so on without making map harder.
I talked about that in the video, i calculated the added time from einhar combined with the amount of currency i made from the beasts and einhar is around a 10 divine an hour addition - plus youre making the harvests easier, so the time spent on killing the beasts is realistically also time saved from completing your harvests

Does the beast drop loot again when it is recaptured or is it just a time sink?

So what would the final setup for a tier 16 map be? Talking about the scarabs without taking the absurdly expensive awakening scarab?
Cornucopia+doubling most likely, or straight up just running non crop rotation harvest with no investment

yeah, the scarab set up is Either with cornacopia or Horned Awakening for crop rotation
