The more ue5 games I see, the more I appreciate cyberpunk optimisation
right?! we thought we had it bad ...
It's the devs fault not ue
@@findgod...it’s the publishers fault not the devs
Too bad CDPR will switch to UE5....
even ue4 games, half of the terribly optimised recent games are on 4
Bob looks even better dead now at 4K with DLSS 3.5!! 10/10
I'm actually blown away how good this patch is for me, and that doesnt happen often. Its crazy how the game now utilising cpu's correctly has changed the game entirely.
Gone from 40-60fps no matter the settings (even on lowest settings), on my 3700x, to a near locked 60fps, on near max settings with NO upscaling (3700x, 32gb ram, GTX 1080ti).
Hopefully other studios take note of this patch.
And some random YT commenter with 60 subs has access to 2.0 nearly a week early how...? Stop lying kid

Finally! Some good rays to be traced!
The difference is amazing on 1080p resolutions!!! Damn well done

thank you! glad you think so :D
Waited so long for this update. Im gonna play through the whole game again :D
Watched another popular channel showing this game with all the visual upgrades that came with 2.0 and it barely looked different. This video shows them off much better.
This champ is doing content instantly, huuuge respect
Pretty awesome that it gives the same or more performance while looking that much better. Ordinarilly we would expect to see a moderate performance hit for such a difference. Good stuff and glad it works on older rtx cards.
Damn, bros been pumping out videos with Starfield and now CP2077 2.0 comes out, don’t burn yourself out, this seems like a ton of work! Mad respect!
Really?
Nice video as always man, I've noticed that one of the downsides of using RR, is that the shadows (specially in the daytime) flicker more.
thats such a good thumbnail! also Great vid as usual :)
thank you mate :D
Funny and informative as always, love it
I was waiting for u mate.... This is why this channel is ❤
I like the space between the frames, all even. That 14fps makes a nice 28fps with that DLSS3.5. It almost gives the impression of 40fps that older graphic cards gave.
I literally watched this entire video eating chicken wings by myself, even though these videos are to experience and explore the limits of hardware, it still is incredibly entertaining. ❤
Bro you are cool 😎
I love your videos, not only we got to see the graphical changes they've done to Cyberpunk but we also got to see the big improvement in combat too, before killing Bob was very glitchy now it properly ragdolls and everything and we also got to see the police system in actio which looks pretty good now! Thank you for this videos I always enjoy your content :)
I seriously hope the engineers at CDPR are helping Epic on the optimization front with UE5 because this looks freaking amazing and it's not that demanding for what it is. I mean, full path tracing in an open world game of this visual quality at playable framerate...still looks like magic to me.
Wish we could get doom levels of optimization in cyberpunk. I know it's apples to oranges.
"playable framerate"?!? Even on 1080p it isn't, what are you talking about, man. Playable is at least 120 fps, real fps, without FG. Anything less than at least 100 fps in first person shooter is a disaster.
@@detrizor7030speak for yourself
Nice vid. still waiting for RTX 2060 Super vids tho
The thing about Cyberpunk is that even in the true Cyberbug era where there were bugs left and right, it still at least looked good for the most part. So it being more intensive over something like RDR2 or Valhalla was at least partially justified. Starfield doesn't have that excuse. It looks worse than those two games while also running much worse.
Graphics isn't the only thing that is degrading performance
That's why I named it sh*tfield 😊
Unpopular opinion
Realistic graphics are terrible

@@zWORMzGaming can you also do rx 7800 xt videos because rn rx 7800 xt is sold out everywhere for its good price and performance
@@zWORMzGaming Thanks! I really can't decide whether to get a 4070 now or save another month for a 4070ti (I can't justify the 4090 and the 4080 will need a stronger PSU). I'm also kinda torn between getting a 4k monitor or a 1440p monitor - at least with a 4k monitor I can play 1080p "natively" if you know what I mean - but regardless I need enough horsepower to run RR at performant settings.

Nice comparison test
This looks so amazing, even at 14FPS,.... Maybe I just got use to your Starfield videos lol.
Seriously, I can see a little room for improvement, but this is looking absolutely amazing.
And it's not important that it is absolutely unplayable, yeeeeees. Technology of future, maybe, if we're lucky, in 5 years from now there will be some GPU that can handle it.
Excellent video respect 🙏
Awesome tests!
Nice videos just as always!
Please, test this update with RTX 4070!
Why? To see how bad it performs? Man, even 4090 can't give playable fps (120+ without FG) with path tracing, why do you even thing about 4070?
the ray reconstruction is crazy good, but I noticed ghosting from DLSS behind the cars, so it's not just from FSR.
Ghosting its not about fsr or dlss, in cyberpunk its result of own graphics algorithms.
OMG it's out?! I gotta download this as soon as I get home lol. I have the same GPU, and I've tried the path tracing setting in the old version, which I can get running very smoothly with DLSS3 and quality at 1440p. Frame gen is like witchcraft I swear
yeah i mean still look good, not natively good but yeah okay rather than lowering graphics quality
I love your videos !
Pleasure to watch you as always mate. For content variety, could you benchmark the game with a GTX serie card? Like 1660s or ti perhaps
This game is so beautiful, its amazing. 🙌
Awesome video as always, my man! But I didn't get what you meant by "blocky reflections", maybe TH-cam compressing too much 😅
Also there is very intense game area to test, it's located near holographic fishes, under the floor where there are little space with trees and benches. In 4080 and overdrive RT I get way less fps then anywhere else
Nice to see you again kryzpp 😶🌫️
I was just testing my PC and OMG it looks amazing and runs impressively well on the RTX 4080 and the i5 13600k especially on 1440p with very good input delay even with FG, didn't have the time for testing 4k and now i'm hyped to watch the video to see how it performs
Man, it performs terrible, not even 4090 can give decent FPS with path tracing. Decent FPS is 120+, WITHOUT frame generation, because frame generation doesn't help with input lag, actually it makes it even worse, and smaller input lag is the ONLY serious reason of having high FPS. Using frame generation in first person shooter is just pointless, it's like growing muscles with silicone, it doesn't make any sense - it's not real muscles, you can't use them the same way, there's no power, just deception. What's wrong with you people? How can you eat this nvidia crap and even be GLAD about it? Frame generation is just a fraud, i'm terrified such thing even exists, will you be happy to get a wife that really is a man? No? Then why are you so happy about fake fps, which doesn't give nearly as good experience like real 120+ fps? I genuinely don't understand this madness...
@detrizor7030 I ain't reading all that,
I'm happy for you tho,
or sorry that happened
Could you do MK1 bemchmarks? It would be nice.
And good video!❤
Don’t forget dlss 3.5 gives you a 8% fps boost as well in overdrive.
Great tests! Would love it if you could test ultrawide 3440x1440.
The crowd density option has been moved to the Graphics tab for anyone wondering.
Great video man Will you test the 3080 ti or the 4070 ti?
amazing as always!! can you please try the GTX1650 4GB next to see if 4GB o VRAM is enough to go and kill BOB 2.0!!!

hello kryzzp really nice vid :D
hey! welcome welcome :D
I've been putting off playing CP 2077. I tried it originally on PS5 when it came out, but I did not like it. Patch 1.6 was a massive step in the right directrion, but I felt as though there was still some room for improvement. Since then i put together a pc with an RTX 4080, a R7 5800x3d and 32gigs of RAM. I just tried the game on my LG C1 oled at 4k performance DLSS, with RT overdrive and ray reconstruction and I gotta say that's what I had in mind when I saw the first trailer. I think we finally arrived! It took them 3 years but it's finnally time to play!
me with a 1070: hmm... yes, very interesting
Impressive, thanks!
Amazing video!! Also, what monitor do you use?
If only you didn't turn off motion blur in every game you test. I really like it 🥲
But back to Cyberpunk... I really like the new update 2.0, and performance and visual quality in RT Overdrive is unheard of. I've never seen a game that looked this good 😭 I wanted to lick my LG OLED 😂 (playing on a 4090)
One thing I don't like is a lot of ghosting when using DLSS + frame gen + RR 🤨Hope they can fix it asap.
Great video, tho!😊
I am more impressed with the visual quality at 1080p. Especially considering now you can get far better visual quality while using RT and without having to need the top tier cards. I assume so.
In Cuba they would call all of these technologies, DLSS, Overdrive a thing called "Gambiarra"...it's way faster and better to put a bucket filled with water to the brm, below your monitor. You'll have top notch reflections
I can finally see the new generation
I'm running it on a 12gb 4080 laptop, 2560x1600, everything maxed out with FG+RR and DLSS balanced and it's keeping above 60
This tech is just awesome
Never had the oportunity to test Path Tracing myself, but from youtube videos I noticed it was noisy and somehow unrealistic. Now with Ray Reconstrution it looks so clear and natural.
You really do have an Bobsession!
legend never forget to "Good byeeeee, Bob"
Pretty impressive ❤
Thanks! Perfect
I have the same GPU and CPU. Getting 120 fps with RT: Overdrive, pathtraced at 1440p. Great experience
Are you serious, dude? 120 frame generated fps is just 60 real fps, and 60 real fps is a terrible experience, it's a huge, unplayable input lag. What's wrong with you people, i don't understand, have you ever tried playing games the proper way - on 140+hz display with 140+ real fps? If so, how can you ever call 60 fps "great experience" after this? If you haven't, just try it then, please, 120 real fps on 120hz display is much superior experience than fake 120 fps with any kind of graphics. Visuals just don't matter if game is unplayable, and with such enormous latency in first person shooter it's definately unplayable in comparison to real great experience of real high FPS.
@@detrizor7030 Bro this is an RPG not some kinda of FPS
@@tugaks1837 Actually this IS first person shooter, what are you talking about? It's a game when you control your character from first person view and SHOOT you enemies, aiming at them my mouse. RPG is something like Fallout 2.
@@detrizor7030Bro what are you talking about, did you even play cyberpunk?
Just tested the new settings and I gotta say I think the regular Ray Tracing at psycho looks better most of the time. I was getting a lot of washed out and dull lighting in OD, almost like it disabled AO and not to mention it's still really blurry when compared.
Not to mention the distant NPC/Object animation smearing. Poor Judy looked like a bizarre alien during the BD calibration process.

As per previous, 3080ti videos please. Much love.
are u gonne test the 2.0 version of CP77 with older GPU???... like GTX 1050TI
Are you recording on the same PC as your gameplay? Only reason I ask, I use a Capture Card 2 pc setup, when I enable DLSS Frame Generation, althought I'm getting 60fps at 4k, the lag that is generates when moving is insane.
I also use a capture card, the lag is because of FG itself
yup I knew it was caused by FG. Is there anyway around it (apart from obviously disabling it) but I need it on a 4080 at 4k. I'm having to keep FG disabled at the moment, but then its a toss up between using Path Tracing and RR for 45fps or turn them off and just use standard Psycho RT for 60 and miss out on those glorious reflections. Loving your videos to man, been a long time watcher but first time I've spoken to you in comments.

HI ... BRO you ar the best smart .💯✌
@ 4:40 the bug your talking about is it like ghosting? Im seeing alot of this when speaking with characters the hair and eyelashes etc are ghosting frames and create a blur.
that i5 is a beast of a cpu
I don't remember everyone being this critical of the appearance of RT Overdrive when that came out, it was really hyped up
Beautiful at native, very noisy with DLSS, unless at 4K with DLSS Q

starfield optimization is a joke.
after seeing this.
cyberpunk looked good even when, there were bugs left and right, it still at least looked good for the most part.

bro u look on DLSS and Framegen vs Native. He gets 20fps without them. Starfield have okay performance it just look like shit for performance u are getting.
Ok that's looks impressive
Esperando los subtitulos :D
I'm usually team AMD all through but they better step up their ray tracing software soon or they'll be in big trouble
You should probably keep in mind that these results come from a card worth $1,100+ (even more in EU), which is more than AMD's fastest gaming card. This is not something that the vast majority can afford either way.
RR works on 20 series cards, aka I can use DLSS at 1080p and with ray reconstruction it fixes all my issues with using DLSS with raytracing. This comes at a cost to nvidia though given its just saved the life of older RTX cards like my 2080 super
@@Physuo except, only 4xxx cards come with frame generation
@@Physuoyou cant use RR without path tracing for now
@@X_irtz The point is Nvidia is not selling only the GPU, unlike AMD. Sure you have to pay more but you also get more. DLSS is the best Upscaler and from game to game it gets more clear why DLSS is better. DLAA gets you good Quality improvements. Reflex is superior since years now and AMD now got their HX or HS ( dont know the name), but thats also only for 7XXX GPUS.
Hi zwormz, could you add 4k DLSS Balanced with FG enabled from now on? Thinking about getting a 4k 240hz oled monitor, and I wanted to know how bad the latency feels taking the lowered latency from the oled into account plus the high fps capability from the monitor.
Will you also make one with the rtx 2060?
Good video. The thing is, a real reflection in a real puddle isn't as clear as a mirror, it's a little blurry. A slightly blurry reflection is actually more accurate. 🤔
A real reflection in a still puddle is pretty much perfect, very little photon scatter. I think the problem with Cyberpunk is that the puddles are all still and that's not how it works in real life. Even light wind will cause ripples, but in cyberpunk even a car driving through the puddle doesn't disturb it.
ngl i'm pretty impressed; same performance with a better denoiser and some AI magic. according to nvidia RR isn't nearly as optimized as it could be (as of right now) cause atm RR is just bleeding edge tech and nothing more. It's not meant to run well on anything other than 4090 and 4080 at 2K (basically they want to make sure it works properly and provides good visual results and then they will optimize it for lower end hardware). Over time it will get better and a lot more GPUs will be able to utilize it cause so far they only trained it for path tracing. and path tracing is a nightmare for all gpus
I have a 4070Ti with an i7-12000K and 32GB DDR4 3200 ram. I play in 1440 with all settings on high + path tracing enabled. DLSS Quality + FG + RR. I typically get about 75-90fps in the most demanding city areas. Once you start getting more towards the less dense spots in Night City I can hit the 100s. DLSS 3.5 is amazing.
My dude, i don't understand, would you be happy to get a wife that is really a man? No? Then why are you happy about fake 90 fps, when it's really just 45 fps with interpolated frames, which don't make input lag better at all (even make it worse)? The ONLY purpose of high FPS is low input lag. 90 FPS with frame generation is just 45 fps, that's it. FG is just a fraud. Why are you people so happy about it? How can you mistake man with a woman, if just Jensen Huang tells you so? I GENUINELY don't understand it...
@@detrizor7030 I like men but fuck frame generation, worst feature nvidia release in at least a decade.
im excited
FINALLY
I can play it with my GT730 now.

The crowd density option has been moved to the graphics settings, that's why it's not in the gameplay settings.
Please test out the rx 6800 xt gpu im getting it in my new pc. would love to see some benchmarks from it.
17:09 What settings would you have to use in the past to get reflections that good?
Ray Reconstruction is really clutch
does DLSS 3.5 come with the cyberpunk 2.0 update, or do i also need to update my nvidia drivers to be able to see the ray reconstruction option in game?
Only comes with 40 series GPUs.
Damn, this gpu can achieve high refresh rate at 1080p with everything maxed out in Cyberpunk but dips below 60 fps in starfield on ultra settings, a game with static vegetation, cubemap reflections and water from 2010 lol
There's more reflection in this game than in real life 🤣
I think i finally know legit reason to use 1080p screen on rtx 4090 pc, ray tracing, without upscaling
I think you should show two photos when you want to show difference between a scene
Installing the game, curious to see performance differentials on my setup
Why no new driver tho? Or is it was unavailable by the time you record it?
Ray Reconstruction is A LIFE SAVER for the Reflections like, for real?!! It makes them Much better then native res. Its crazy and people should take advantage of this new technology!😊
It also fixes your FPS. Wish there was a way to only run RR and no DLSS for the rest of the game.
@anitaremenarova6662 yeah they should add that option
Hopefully this could run in the 4070 i have, i noticeed the vram usage would go down even while having soo mnay things on, but than go back up with fram gen. If i could get 30 FPS and more with it, no need for Fram gen
