  • We hit the trail for a day hike this time out Gleneagle way on the Eagle Hill Loop. Rob picked this track and didn't do any research so we were flying blind and didn't know that some of the loop track was off-trail. Made it an interesting day but we still had a great time!!!
I would, now knowing what I know, recommend this trail for sure if you are not afraid of some bush bashing!!! 4 out of 5 stars. will be much nice when there is a lot more water in the Canning River.

I would love to take a look now and see how green it now compared to then. I bet the bush has come back better than ever :)

All good..can see which end you came in from. Have you tried coming in via Albany Hway end, much easier and 20 mins to Eagle Rock 👍

Thank you! We started from a spot on kinsella road, which is the marked trail head for the loop on the All Trails app!

Nice bushwalk guys , shame about those huge burnt out areas as the way they do their so called cold burns absolutely decimates the wildlife that cant escape and when they do it before summer they starve the survivors . Also the large trees get continually burnt till they crash to the ground . The indigenous peoples took much more care and timing was crucial to their burns.

I will be honest I don't know a lot about burnoffs, but I do know the bush still comes back strong as after them!
