If you are looking at building a greenhouse and having some awesome things added into your ark game then check this out! This will show you how to stack crop plots, and a bunch of other useful tips for pve and pvp!!!!
This tutorial is part of my channel for Ark, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

Brilliant I'll use this method as my base is low on space. Figured I'd build a 3x4 and have stacked plots either side.

Thank you for this. I find this is often the critical point that most crop stackers forget to mention because most others will fidget their mouse and move constantly to get it to stack properly.

Just so you know the smallest box to make that 300% thing on is 3by 3 thing i think early on or when youre just on single player style and low on resources keepin things functional and minimslistic is cool anyway hope it helps ya out

So basically, there is ZERO benefit in using a Large Crop Plot for growing berries. You would think that it might have a greater storage capacity for fertilizer and crops than the Small Crop Plot... Nope. The only benefit that a large crop plot brings is a higher capacity for water storage (600=large, 400=medium, 200=small), which is completely pointless if you have a tap connected to a body of water (never runs low or runs out). With 300% Greenhouse Effect, all the crop plot sizes stop producing after 299 berries or 149 crops and have a total storage of 10 slots, no matter what plot size you use.
Not a serious issue, but I wish the crop plots increased in more than just size and water capacity, but in fertilizer and crop storage as well. It would provide more incentive to grind for the extra materials. Ideally/realistically, the greenhouse effect would only influence crop production speed, and the crop plot size would determine size of your harvest.
Also, considering how fragile the greenhouse structures are, it is kind of annoying that the Tek Forcefield blocks the greenhouse effect. Though I guess it makes sense logically, it is just another minor issues that bugs me a bit.
Well a greenhouse such a useful asset that it gives Weaker players a chance to cripple a tribe, you can't do anything against any of their structures except for the one thing providing them the ability to tame Advanced creatures
Large crop plots don’t need irradiation.. that is a big benefit.
There are some things (like the turret plants) that can only be planted in the large plots.
Can I see a build tutorial for an all in one base for everything you need for pve? Breeding, greenhouse, storage, crafting, automated farms, gacha farms, dust farm literally everything that you need all in one build as compact as possible

so i just watched this vid today and thought this would be pretty cool and compacted for my SP world on PC. but i cannot get them to stack at all, is there a setting that i need to click on/off??

o dont raise many herbivores but i do agree. one of my first tames on any server is a bronto and i replace him with a farm for narcs soon after. bronts good but growings better.

Is there a difference in yield between small and large crop plots? Will crops produce more in a large crop plot than a small?
as far as i remember the growth rate is the same if we are talking berries. But the large can hold more. (so you would have to empty the small ones more often)

I am pretty sure that all 3 sizes have the same amount of item slots and produce the same amount in any box, but berries can be in all 3, crops can only be in medium and large and plant species can only be in large
This is sadly not working for me. Still says "seedling" but it has full water irrigated and 300% greenhouse effect. Fertilizer is in as well and seed is in. I think its almost been 2 irl days.

Btw you need large crop plots to grow plant Y/Z
You can increase the greenhouse effect to 500% if your floor is made of greenhouse ceiling tiles. I don't know if it works if you put the greenhouse ceiling tiles directly on the foundation; I've done it two different ways:
Foundation - greenhouse ceiling - greenhouse ceiling - foundation
Ocean Platform garden area floored with greenhouse tiles instead of metal ceiling tiles.
I place the garden plots on the greenhouse ceiling tiles, then build the greenhouse around it.
Also, for folks that don't want the majority of the irrigation to be visible, you can attach stairs to one of our foundations and adjust the height that your irrigation pipes are by using the stairs as your leveling device.

Question how often you gotta use toilet to get that much fertilizer in each tray????
I think this tactic is mostly used PvE therefore you would have a lot of tames so you get a lot of poop
can anyone confirm this still works? i’m playing unofficial and i can’t get them to stack, says they are obstructed!

why do you only farm Narco Tinto and Mejo? dont you need Amar for Kibble as well as stim?
tinto for medbrews narco for the narcotics and mejo always best boi (used in more recipes, in some its any berry and only few require the specific variants)

Dung betters work great for fertilizer
smalls are for berries, larges are for defensive turrets.......

I don't think gen2 has sunlight. You need to use the tek crop plot\

Defs not bannable. All the mega tribes stack crop plots.
We stack our large crops on top of one another , 4 columns for each crop ...ohhh you just shown that on the video lol kudos

New to game, how are they used/what do they eat?
@@cndmarksmen7383 if you put poop in their inventory and enable wandering they turn it into fertilizer for your crops as long as you don’t encumber them,They have to be able to move. They are a passive tame with spoiled meat or poop, they actually eat spoiled meat on a regular just transform the poop. If attacked any around will attack and they are stronger than you’d think I walked 4 halfway across the map to get them home once they not only lived they downed everything that attacked was pretty glad when the Dino poke balls became a thing.

Idk what happened but I made a little "Outhouse" and Everytime I go to poop my character glitches and I can keep Going for like 30 minutes, I have so much fertilization that I've had to just Drop it In mass Piles Because of the amount of space they take up

Turret limit still applies so its a good idea but not that usefull
I am pretty sure that since they mesh together the bottom ones can’t shoot since they just hit the tallest plants hit box, I could be wrong but I heard that somewhere

This is patched for smalls & mediums. Larges still work though.
Sometimes when I put the plots in the greenhouse, there is no greenhouse effect? Any suggestions on it?
I have found that problem when the greenhouse its not closing correctly, (it happens sometimes when u missplace a wall or ceiling)

@@sagarnegi9464 yeah, also walls sometimes tend to attach lower than they should or attach to ceiling instead of the lower wall leaving a gap.

So... a 100% crop growth increase actually doesn't mean double growth speed?
The difference between “3x of normal” vs “3x increase”. 3x1 is 3, vs 1+(3x1) is 4. Easy confusion point in language.
why so much resources?? Just tame a low llevel mammoth and go to the swamp for one minute, you will have tons of berries.

@@seanspursss late reply but cryopods should be fairly easy to make in any drop the hardest ingredient is just polymer which can be harvested from any mantis, but you cant cryo something with an inventory full of berries or the berries all drop to the ground
@@eliasboudreau3497 That is what an Argent or any flier with decent weight is for. I can also just harvest a ton of berries outside of my base. Don't get me wrong this is pretty cool having a self sustaining base. I can see the usefulness of this being even higher in PVP, why leave your base unless you have too. But getting a ton of berries isn't a hard task under normal circumstances let alone you likely don't need to travel far.

Go to genisis farm 1 mission that takes 5 mins and buy 200k berry's every 5 mins 😂 but yes this may be useful for beginners

Well first of all you bobs if you buy berry's your doing 1 trip with a black box and dong it buying berry's black box with just 2k points you get 28k points from 1 mission so you sit at base buy berry's fill troths so over all saves you a fuck load if time but I understand if you guys can't afford a giga and all you guys playing on your 100x servers just saying what's best for small tribes and if your built on genisis it's the easiest way
Really frustrating, ive watched atleast 6-8 videos like this and not one, actually explains or mentions how much fertilizer to put in, what the difference in nitrogen levels of each fertilizer means, how many seeds to put in, wether you can put in 100 berries n only need to add fertilizer each time after collecting a harvest, eta on grow times ect. It may be super duper obvious to you guys but to new players its not.
Nice video teach but growing berries is worthless even a parasaur can get more berries and i mean it take almost nothing to tame a lvl 5-10 trike so idk but growing anything is only worth growing a plant x,y, and all the crops. Now i would agree with you on the berries if it didnt take i think 4 hours to grow it just not worth on officials. Ps all the crops plot yield the same amount but you can only plant crops in the med crop plots and above
Greenhouse is mainly for advanced crops for kibble and recipes. for a solo tribe yea you can just get a dino but when your making a mass number of recipes it's time consuming to berry run.

Do people really play in tribes :) i like to play solo. No other usless teamates to held me down (i had bad experiences with teamworking games like DBD or LOL)
You always talk like you're half baked lol. For me, I cant watch because of that. I guess some people really go for the ASMR crowd.
