+Blake Martin well let's see, I lost my father in active duty when I was 7 years old, I watched my brother commit suicide because of his grief, I went with my cousin after he screamed out because of a flash back of his best friend getting shot in the face while he too, served our country, so yeah, I didnt go the route my family members did but I'm definitely not sitting on my ass. I'm going to college to become a Nero Surgeon to make my father proud while also raising my child, and working 40 hours a week as a CNA at a young age of 19 years old. But yeah I'm doing sitting on my ass right
My brother is in the Navy and I always listen to songs for/about the military. I just love those songs. I always pray that he'll be fine but you never know. He's not a Navy SEAL since he's on a boat, but sometimes I just wish I could see him...
Much respect to the men and women of the uniform I served in the navy 5 years as far as i am concerned anyone who goes and puts on a uniform to serve their county are true heroes. Semper Fortis
Respect my friend. You are heroes, even if some think you're just murderers. You atleast fight for your country, an honourfull job. Sadly your job isn't that well payed as it should be.
My brother just joined the Minnesota Army National Guard, and introduced me to this song. He is one of many people in this nation who answered the call and joined the ranks of the greatest fighting force in the world. I wish him and all the rest of this country's military men and women, and their families the best.
God Bless David Drake and his family PFC.Drake died at the age 21 recently and they drove a motorcade through his hometown,my home town, everybody at my school stood outside for an hour holding american flags in honor of an American hero. R.I.P David And the Drake family is in my prayers.
This is one of those songs that MUST be played loudly as it is so powerful and with headphones on you can feel it in your soul and your ❤ beats faster. Thank you Citizen Soldiers for ALWAYS being there.
I've been contemplating joining the Guard for a while now. Since my grand dad died in August and I felt like I owed something to him after seeing everything he did in the Marines I felt as though I had to....this song may have pushed me to doing it.... To all our soldiers out there fighting to protect us. Thank you.
Awesome song. There is something that was once wrote that many have found to be the truth. ''No Man is an Island, No Man stands alone''. I pray the the Creator will be with our Troops as well as many others who help and are willing to go out of their way to help others that are in need.
When I raised my right hand and said, "I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution", it was the smartest decision I have ever made. I'm currently finishing high school then heading out for training and I have never been more proud of myself.
My personal definitions Terrorist-a person that uses fear and destruction to control others Murderer-a person that kills because it pleases them Solder-a person that fights for their country and kills the opposing force because if they don't then they will die
My sister ships out in about two weeks. She's a 68w and the first person in a long time from my family to join the army. Praying for all the soilders, soon-to-be's, and family out there who support and are part of the armed forces.
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Grabs AK-47 and patrols the streets then a policeman comes by, "HEY BUDDY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Clears throat, "I am a soldier, get the fudge outta my way!" >:(
I'm planning on joining the Army National Guard. I can't wait to be able to serve the country that I love, and to the men and women already serving. Thank you.
i had a friend in the 187th rakkasan's he served same length in op anaconda in afghanistan and he did some time in baghdad too when we first went in on op iraqi freedom thanks for your service man
i may be a marine but this song gets to me, and i swear by the grace of god that i will lay my life on the line for this country no matter what the cause.
I have brothers that share the same taste of music as me, it's actually were I developed mine, but when we drove in my oldest half brothers car he played music like this xD
One thing I love about this song as how it can be taken multiple ways. First off it shows respect to the soldiers who fight for America and protect its citizens--I may not agree with our wars, but I respect the warriors. On the other hand, it's also talking about those common day people who help others just by getting up in the morning or being there for others.
i think of the faction i created within the Fallout universe; my Blood Wolves of Blood Wolves Security Consulting. comprised of former Raiders, ex Enclave personnel (during the Wolves' little tour in DC) so on and so forth; given the choice to make more of their lives than they originally were, under a new banner. shit, you could say BWSC is pretty much a more down-to-earth but at the same time cold-bloodedly ruthless version of the Minutemen. especially since the Wolves actually train their recruits how to use firearms rather than handing some poor sod of a farmer a pipe pistol and telling them to 'go kill some synths'. i respect the Minutemen, i really do; but fuck's sake man you don't give a loaded weapon to some dipshit tato farmer who doesn't know how to use it. i get you guys don't really have alot of time to train all the settlements you have under your jurisdiction, but at least train the settlements closest to the Castle Gravey-Train, c'mon now.
i love this song. it reminds me to pray for our troop, because they are the ones who truly make our beds at night, and keep the war from being fought in our backyards. Let Freedom Ring. thank you Jesus for the freedoms u have given us.
I get this awesome visual of Markiplier, dressed in camouflage, carrying a gun and stuff, leading the revolution against Trump, fighting for the America he was raised to believe in, covered in dirt, red hair damp with sweat.
This is an awesome song, which is dedicated to the men and women in uniform fighting to preserve our freedom. I, myself, am going into the Air Force, so this song definantely hits close to the chest.
this song reminds me of my whole family as they were in the navy and army and my sisters brother might go into the national guard .everybody is so greatful for what you people do for our country and we all pray that you get home safe.
My very best friend is a citizen solider I love u Travis baby !!!!PERFECT PRIVATE KELLY!!!THANK U BABY FOR ALL U HAVE DONE TO KEEP US FREE!!!! I love u always Stacy All that have been in the military thank u !!!!!
Awesome song... fantastic tribute to the men who stand at the wall and say " nothings gonna happen to you tonight" One quibble on the transcript... the line in the bridge is " the strongest among you may NOT wear a crown.
"I walk beside you but you may not see me, the strongest among you may not wear a crown." is probably my favorite line/part of the entire song! mainly cuz its SO true!
right back at you,i am proud to live in the United States and will give my life for my country like so many before me,and make this world a better place for the next generation
As a former soldier I will tell you this, No matter what job you sign up for in the army your first and primary job is Infantryman, all other specialties are secondary (you will learn this at boot-camp). Even as a PS you will be issued a weapon, trained to use it, and in circumstances beyond your control may be required use it to do things you never thought you'd do. Serve Proudly, thank you for your future service.
I have friends currently serving in the Marine Corps, National Guard, and an uncle in the Air Force. My uncle is leaving for Afghanistan soon and I don't know how long he'll be there. This song made me think of all those I know in the military, past and present. *~USA~*
Why are we talkin about video games? This song is about the national guard, you know the guys brave enough to fight your battles for you? I'm glad theres people on this page talking about serving cause it's a noble thing, and very selfless.
Be grateful you can sit around and philosophize about how sad it is that warriors are needed in this world. In some parts of the world, people are too busy dodging bullets and bombs to think about it.
Im going to the fire hall tonight for some work. With ever lasting memories of 9/11 in my mind, and this song in my ears, I will never fall. When that moment finally comes, ill be there to help. My regards 343, from DVFD recruit #762.
Respect to all the "citizen soldiers" of USA, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium and all others of the NATO who are today fighting in Afghanistan for our freedom! Because freedom is not free!
I don't like war but I still have immense respect for all soldier from all countries. They put their lives on their line to protect us, but the most of my respect comes from things like in the video clip, which shows soldiers helping ordinary citizens after the hurricane in New Orleans (at least I think that's what was happening). If the worlds armies could be all about things like that and not war, I would sign up without a second thought.
you have me respect, I am joining the bundeswehr 21st armoured brigade, we are from two different nations and our ancestors have fought with eachother but that is the past..it will be an honor to fight along side your nation as an ally!
this is a great song it really hits me in the heart because when i grow up i wanna join the military navy or marines but i don't know which but i do have one obstacle my hubby told me not to join because i could die i looked at him and said i won't die and if i do remember it was so that i know that everyone i hold dear could be free and all you haters out there who dont want to stand behind our troops or by them then lets see you stand in front like them
This song has literally changed my life. Before my fiance became my fiance I considered him my angel and I still do. But one day he sent me this link and told me it was his song to me :)
My brothers Raymond (USN), Jason(USMC), and Felix(USAF) were in the Armed Forces, but they were KIA, Raymond and Felix were pilots that were shot down and Jason was simply shot, my heart goes out to your siblings serving in the National Guard sir.
this song really gets to me,everytime i hear it,i cant help but tear up.i will die for my country and will do anything to keep it safe, coming from another soldier
This song always used to be at the movie theater before the movie starts. It was played for one of those commercials that tries to get you to join the army.
This song means a lot to me. I'm a E1 in the Alabama national guard I am glad that some people respect us
+Blake Martin better then sitting on your ass doing nothing.
+Blake Martin well let's see, I lost my father in active duty when I was 7 years old, I watched my brother commit suicide because of his grief, I went with my cousin after he screamed out because of a flash back of his best friend getting shot in the face while he too, served our country, so yeah, I didnt go the route my family members did but I'm definitely not sitting on my ass. thank you for serving!
Odd thing to say.
Its not just for national guard its also for retired vets and also soldiers in the reserves
My brother is in the Navy and I always listen to songs for/about the military. I just love those songs. I always pray that he'll be fine but you never know. He's not a Navy SEAL since he's on a boat, but sometimes I just wish I could see him...

One of my most favorite songs, it's one of the best because it can relate to all heroes in real life and in fiction!
Ryan King Whaaaaaat?

Blood is the ink of freedom
When I raised my right hand and said, "I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution", it was the smartest decision I have ever made. I'm currently finishing high school then heading out for training and I have never been more proud of myself.
My personal definitions
Terrorist-a person that uses fear and destruction to control others
Murderer-a person that kills because it pleases them
Solder-a person that fights for their country and kills the opposing force because if they don't then they will die
Soldier- a person who fights to survive for the love of his country and freedoms he is sworn to uphold and would give his life for his brothers
Josh Peters i love this definition because it is the real idea behind a soldier
My sister ships out in about two weeks. She's a 68w and the first person in a long time from my family to join the army. Praying for all the soilders, soon-to-be's, and family out there who support and are part of the armed forces.

Who thinks of the Minutemen from Fallout 4 when listening to this song?
+Legatus Maximus I me
Why? Does another settlement need my help?
i think of the faction i created within the Fallout universe; my Blood Wolves of Blood Wolves Security Consulting.
