I don't know anything about music except weather or not it is pleasing to my ears. This sounds like a combination of baroque classical and Spanish guitar to me. Beautiful! I could listen to this all day.
Great playing, mediocre recording. The players are super good and will hopefully share more with us. Hard to beat a good Byers and this player has one. So nice to hear a normal sounding guitar but a really good one and not the nasal tone and heavy basses of the double tops.
