In the email before she died, Andi said she would burn Miles's empire to the ground. More poetic justice.
Also, during Miles's disruptor speech, he said first you break something people want broken (glass sculptures), then you take it a step further and people start to protest (the one-of-a-kind piano), and then you break the one thing that the whole world doesn't want you to break (the Mona Lisa).

I also love how this movie is an inversion of knives out, the first film was a crime which at first seemed pretty straight forward but ended up being far more layered, complex and devious than it first appeared.
The 2nd movies crime however seems complex and multi layered from the very beginning, however ends up actually being very straight forward and almost predictable behind all the smoke and mirrors just like the titular glass onion.

The biggest clue for me was when Birdie said that Miles doesn’t even have a phone and the entire time after Duke dies you can see a phone in Miles back pocket. Also I noticed miles taking something from duke but didn’t know what it was until the gun was missing. I did not call the twin thing. What kills me is the first time watching this movie, when Miles said, "everyone look at Birdie!" I knew immediately that I should do the opposite and not look at Birdie. So I stopped watching the screen and stared at the floor instead! Such a dumb, dumb decision even though the instinct was right.

I think your glass onion theory did make sense! When you said how the song was written just to confuse and meant to be nonsense with nothing really encrypted, I thought it tied in real nice with Blanc exposing Miles to just be sprouting nonsense and not the genius the world does not understand! That the culprit would be who it most straightforwardly would be, not anything complicated like who’d be protecting who, but simply the biggest one who stands to gain from andi’s death.

    (1) 3:18 - 3:22 "...is someone going to be replaced with a double?". Wow, spot on! (2) 4:05 - 4:24 - Helen was not doing well financially and she was the hero of this whole thing. The "disruptors" where financially dependent on Bron and stabbed Andi in the back for that reason. Also, Andi was cut out of her multi-billion dollar company and that became the catalyst to all this. (3) 4:25 - 4:40 - Bron is the fool on the hill. Amazing. Your theory at the beginning was pretty good. Oh. My. God.
Sooo… I _love_ this movie. (I actually prefer it to _Knives Out,_ which I _greatly_ enjoyed. This one is just a little more my style/speed.) And I have watched it 3 times already since it came out (The 2nd and 3rd times were me introducing it to/watching it with different friends. However, I’m probably gonna watch it again on my own, here in the next few days.) as well as _countless_ first time reactions to it. Legit _countless._ (I’m getting over Covid and watching folks react to _Glass Onion_ has recently become my “safe space”. It _really_ helps me out anytime I’m sad/uncomfortable/not feeling well.) So I have watched this movie many, MANY times. (It’s sooo fun on rewatches. Everything really is in plain sight and there are sooo many things to catch upon multiple rewatches, that fly right by on your first viewing.)
Now, having watched this movie many, MANY times, one would think that I’ve caught everything that there is to see. But… NOPE! I just NOW realized that the reason Miles’ garden freaked the hell out when Blanc was smoking is because the ENTIRE ISLAND IS RUN ON EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE HYDROGEN!! And, like, this isn’t even something setup for people to catch on multiple viewings. It’s simply just a movie detail that _makes sense._ LOL. I’m such a dummy.
Also, Janelle Monáe is queen! 😍

Actually, I loved your take on how the Glass Onion lyrics tied into this movie and was a wonderfully, insightful and refreshing take on Rian's movie. I also feel some of the things you predicted were too literal, but was still applicable:
    **SPOILER WARNING**
    **SPOILER WARNING**
    **SPOILER WARNING**
    **SPOILER WARNING**
    **SPOILER WARNING**
Bent-backed Tulips - something or someone who doesn't appear as they should be (Andi?)
The Walrus Was Paul - Helen pretending to be Andi
Lady Madonna - Reference to all the shitheads, Peg, Helen and Whiskey - people just trying to get by
Fool on a Hill - Another Beatles song, which is about a misunderstood person who is very wise; ignoring that, could reference Miles as a very visible person who is just stupid.
Fixing a Hole in the Ocean / Making a dovetailed joint - Trying to fix something that doesn't exist by doing something completely meaningless - it's like clout chasers or tech gurus - or like Metaverse - VR is an answer to a problem that doesn't exist
Song Meant to Confuse - Miles Bron confuses by offering his interpretation before anyone can speak up; it ALWAYS takes more time and effort to debunk a falsehood, than to tell a lie.
Rian Johnson's Knives Out films are of the "Eat-the-Rich" genre. In Knives Out he skewered Old Money (rich through inheritance); in the Glass Onion, he eviscerates New Money (tech "gurus" like Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Zuckerberg and the whole hustle culture that creates clout-chasers and influence peddlers.)
On my first watch I saw Miles puts his drink in Butch's hand
On my second watch I saw Miles take the phone.
On my third watch I saw the moment Miles take the gun and realized that he grabs Benoit in order to hide the phone in his back pocket

The Mona Lisa is featured heavily in the emotional pay off of solving the mystery/satisfying comeuppance for the murder. Madonna can mean my lady like Madam so the lyric is basically lady my lady. The lyrics to glass onion are simple nonsense, and so were the actions of the killer in the mystery. I think the guy in the background (Darryl) is the caretaker of the estate. Rich people always have someone on site to take care of the property. Usually, it is a married couple.

I think he's just meant to be that loser friend that rich guys have that usually lives in their pool house or guest house. He's sort of Kaeto Kailin to Mile's being OJ Simpson. I do love that it's Noah Segan, who Rian Johnson loves putting in his movies, and of course, played Trooper Wagner in Knives Out. I really hope he plays a completely different character in the next movie.

If you want good whodunnits similar to this, Agatha Christie's Poirot, the British series from 1989 to 2013 is excellent but dry in humour. Murder She Wrote, Rosemary And Thyme, and Columbo are tonally exactly like this.
