My dad died the day of the parade. At least he got to.see the Eagles win a super bowl before he passed. Its still hard for me to "enjoy" the win because i remember going to the bank the day of the parade to close my dad accounts thinking we should all be together celebrating. Ive learned to enjoy it my own way i guess...the rocky music just makes me think of what Philly was like in the 70s, my dad was a retired PFD Captain from 1960-1995 so there's just a lot of feelings. A lot of peoples dads and grandfathers passed before 2018 so Im grateful for all the time we had him.
The setup was the same as the last one, but this time, we came out on top! Beat the Falcons and the Vikings, and the Patriots were the defending champions at that time, just like in Super Bowl XXXIX
