The Bismarck's camouflage was painted over during her battle with the Hood and her sinking, but the stripes were slightly visible in the grey paint. Great video though!

1:40 JKillen says that the Bismarck is the most intimidating Battleship of its time, he seems to have completely forgotten about the Imperial Japanese Navy's most fearsome Battleship known as the Yamato which had three triple barrel turrets each containing three 18-in guns which were the biggest guns mounted on a ship at that time, the United States, Britain, and Germany only used 16 inch guns at that time, and the Yamato had a lot more guns than the Bismarck did. The Bismarck was probably the most fearsome in the Atlantic but not in the Pacific.
while yes Robert ballard is most famously known for discovering the wreck of the RMS Titanic in 1984, he also found the wreck of the Bismark as mentioned in the video, and he also tried to find Amelia Earhart's lockeed P-38 Electra and a lesser known wreck, the white star liner Atlantic rose. Like it's later sister the Atlantic rose never made it past its first voyage. It struck a rock of the coast of Halifax and sank in a jaw dropping 2 minutes due to water tight doors number 3 and 6, the main impact areas, were open.
Actually atlantic and titanic were not sisters. And the Atlantic sank on it’s 18th voyage infact it had already been serving for 2 years for the white star line

Another interesting thing about the Bismarck is that some of the crew thought he (Bismarck) was actually unsinkable when the first saw it.
The reason for bismarks odd minimalistic cammo is to make bismark look smaller as he was larger than the treaty of versais would allow for the kraigsmarine,hope I'm not too late

Edit: Did you have PVP on when that happened? I know the AA's come out with PVP on but if PVP was off I have no idea what he hit then.

Here’s another fact: A shot from one of the ships after Hood sank hit the top headquarters and killed all high ranks in 1 blow so the chief engineer was a very low rank and was the only one that could command the crew after a few minutes of fighting then they planted charges and scuttles the ship

Fun fact: the british navy fired 2,000 shells at the bismarck
Bismarck took 300+ shells, did not sink, only sank due to scuttle by the crew.

@@chrisdeeyt4392 It was scuttled due to high damage, loss of command, and to ensure it does not get in british hands to hide possibly valuable information from them.

You did make a mistake about the sinking. It's been proven that the Germans did sink there own ship. The torpedo blister did it's job even though the ship was heavily damage.
