Alina, you are an inspiration! I wanted to fly ultralights since I was 17. I'm now 68 and never got it done but you have made my dream as real and as close as I will ever get. Watching you and your flights gives me that sense of awe and freedom that I have dreamed of. Thanks to you and your father for making these videos!
Exactly!! Everywhere else is just so full of suppressive bs!!🇬🇧 Don't get me wrong, its a lovely and great country but they constipate progress through legality b-ollo-cks and bureaucracy that would sink a homesick angel !! Also, the maintenance over here is a vacation ticket for engineers. Don't breakdown over here or your granny will end up paying for it! The airlines are more pragmatic and practical with engineering tip top standard and highly regulated but without the inherent disembowelment that we get with all general aviation. Second to that is privatised airports who screw every penny out of everything that moves, including the rabbits on the grass. It's a wonder that aviation suppliers like air operators and airlines ever make it pay. The first words of the Air Navigation Order are: "An aircraft shall not fly....." enough said.
I admire how coolly and calmly you handle the ultralight. Always enjoy the freedom of flight. My congratulations to you Alina and also to your parents. I wish the best . greetings from Athens Greece.
I'm on my second Alina video this morning, looks like the green house will have to build itself today. Can you see me smiling? I am. Thank you for these great videos!!
I have worked on the outside of high-rise building and I chased storms for 20yrs and you can keep flying😂. I love watching these videos because it is so much fun to see young people pursue their passion. I have to say, much respect and well done
Yes a true inspiration I taught my own daughter how at 14 to fly first in a 172 then a Beechcraft Bonanza she loved to fly almost as much as she loved to golf. She was my world but a drunk driver took her away from us way to soon not a day goes bye that I don't miss my little girl. I wish yours a long adventures long life. I love seeing other dad's doing what I once did.
It would be nice to see more 14-year-olds getting into Aviation at an early age. Maybe the FAA would grant more freedom to land at gas stations, rest stops, and fast-food places along the highway. 🍀🦉
Great to see the enjoyment and commitment to goals! How were winds handled? Were many of the flights early or late in the day to minimize the effect, or were winds mostly not a factor due to practice. If so, I gather there's still a comfort level/max. airplane crosswind number that is respected.
Hi Alina you are one of the cool yang pilot never panic when you fly this is really good many people make it big deal but you very comfortable when you fly ,just let me know which state and air port you are I'm planning to relocated from California thanks good luck
Now I wish I spent more time over at the ultralights this year at Osh! I have 2 boys and now I know what they’re getting into in a couple years! Keep up the good work.
Just noticed this little exchange at 10:28. "So, you took it apart to haul it up here?" "No, I flew it." "You DID?! Oh, cool!" He was not expecting that response. :D
It is so heartwarming seeing a young lady interested in something like this instead of twerking, body piercing, tattoos, and other sundry garbage that is being pushed on our young people these days.
I live within 4 miles of the whiteside county Airport, illinois. You be careful up thier. If you ever retire from flying, boating is usually not quite as bumpy. That is what my father taught me.
Well she's done well . And with a lot of hard work she could make a future fighter or airline pilot. And I hope other youngsters watching this will want to go try fly .
Congratz Alina! Thank you for sharing your flight and adventures!! I look forward to seeing your future adventures and journeys. :) You have an awesome Dad. Dare i suggest a tether for your cell phone? :)
The "sit on it" technique works. If she dropped it, the worst thing would be that it went through the propeller but even then, I think the propeller would be fine. I've thought of a lanyard but I don't want to over think it. She hasn't dropped it in 60 hours of flying so maybe we're solving a problem that doesn't exist. And to those who wonder why a cell phone at all .. it's much more reliable than any radio so I can communicate with her almost anytime I need.
We just saw the video that EAA posted in 2019 of Henry flying it on that ultralight strip there, 32 stops from Virginia. 😱 Did You fly it there too, or trailer it.?? 🤷🏻♂️ We hope you all took the time to visit the Basler Turbo DC-3 REMANUFACTURING plant on the east side of the field there, quite the place it is…!!! ✅
Классный у вас самолётик и вы классная лётчица !!! Я пока летаю на дельтаплане , но со временем наверно тоже перейду на дельталёт ! Удачи ,вам мягких посадок !
Can I please ask why you pull back on the yoke while taxiing? I have noticed this in many of the vids, is it stop the nose wheel digging into the grass? Thx Tim
This is what I admire the States for - the sheer freedom you have to fly! In the UK as we are such a small country our airspace is getting more and more regulated and restricted for GA. Its sad. That aircraft intrigues me what is it? Is it an Aerolite?
Headache... wouldn't be surprised if an armrest in both sides would allow you to relax your arms and thus shoulders. We used armrests all the time in the Boeings! Anyway, well done!
2 hours or about 100 miles ..but then you are outta gas. We kept the maximum trip to 60. Of course if you certify yours experimental home built you can put a larger gas tank on and get probably double that range.
Here's a thing, to get a helmet, write down the number of views, and tell the helmet manufacturer to put their name of the side of it and you might get the helmet for free...sponsorship.
@@williamh.scottv438 very good..I usually go to macdill afb to see either the thunderbirds or blue angels but sometimes they don't perform there so I go to sun n fun to see one of them perform there😎

Same here but 69 in a few days, Ugh. I did go to an Ultralight Fly-in at Marshall, Mi. 25 yrs. ago, Lol.
You can still fly at 68!
Love it! Dad parking it while she talks to her admirers. 😊
Glad we live in a country where things like this can and do happen.
Would that Britain took the same attitude.

@@mothmagic1 Absolutely - dang!! 😎👍🇬🇧 "They test you to death over here...!" -words from a very great, senior Delta Captain.

In India it's impossible 😢
She is sooo cool and relaxed flying, looks like a vet with 10,000 hrs in this equipment.

I Love it. I am so glad to see young ladies take interest in flying, we need more of them. That was a beautiful landing.
Love seeing youth doing this, gives me hope for our future, I grew up around planes, but never had that kind of opportunity to fly solo

I tried to read your post to my wife but I couldn't make it more than a few words at a time. I am so sorry that you lost your daughter.
Alina, gracias por estos vídeos, volar es mi pasión y mi gran sueño, gracias a ti lo voy a intentar. Mil gracias.😙😙
Awesome video, pretty amazing accomplishment...
This young lady is going somewhere. The discipline and respect for aviation is splendid. Best of luck, and kudos to dad for the support
Congratulations Aline on having the father you have and realizing your dream of flying free in space.
Best wishes

@Jamesburns2232 Yes, I have thought about that myself. I think the answer lies with the owners of the fields in question.
beautiful landing ... nice video. You got guts girl and I admire your sense of adventure. Keep flying and live large!!
Her shorts and those no lace canvas tennis shoes look like they're right out of the 1970's, "I LOVE IT"
What a awesome human she is. Can’t wait to see her in the captain’s seat of a 777-9 flying me on my adventures
A lot of great aviating videos out there, but this one Is special , Sweet dreams.
I wish when I was young I lived in a place where aviation was affordable and accessible to young people.
The plane she flies costs about $30k, so it's one of the more affordable ultra-lights
Wow nice airventure love it
Awesome to see you making the circuits!
So glad to see Alina put on some eye protection and great job also
Te felicito Capitán, excelente Piloto.
Desde Costa Rica el saludo
Excellent camera angle and lens -- provides a wonderful flightpath and piloting skill perspective. Well done!
Надо доработать педальный узел, нока при посадке может соскочить.
