My wife and I've been to those locations. Creepy, the house that was used in Texas chainsaw 2003 has a sign and a gated fence saying no trespassing. Someone actually lives there, scary lol. The truck that is there that you said you don't know why it's there was actually in the movie but it was covered up lol 😁. Great video by the way Leslie
I read somewhere that the house was already occupied prior to filming and the owners at the time(not sure if same ones) were kind enough to give up their house to use as a prop for the movie

I live up the street from the Cele store. Its actually a family owned BBQ joint open on the weekends. The food is amazing (probably in my top 5 in Central Texas), the owners are super nice and they even have live music there now and again. The inside was also the film location for that famous bar fight scene in Second Hand Lions and the inside pretty much still looks like it did then.
@@LeslieLove Yeah that's the one. It may have been closed because of covid when you were there. We have a lot of really cool film locations around here. Most of season four of Fear the Walking Dead was filmed in this area too. Oh and can't forget Friday Lights and Office Space. Looks like you'll need to come back for some brisket and more films :)

The Old Crawford Mill... when you looked behind the bent door, if you would had looked left and stretched out your camera, you would've caught another angle they used in the movie. I took a pic.

@@LeslieLove Yep, the locations of the places are going away, Texas has been growing so fast these rural towns are disappearing, the location where the original TCM house was is currently being cleaned out for building.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre original was good and part 2 but the third movie didn't do well at all back in 1989. I enjoyed original and reboot and let's hope the Netflix sequel isn't a let down.
