- Driving to Devil's Den and not being able to attend, I decided to look up haunted places near by and Jeepers Creepers popped up. Not knowing it had been filmed mostly in Dunnellon and Ocala area, I decided to return a few more times and check them all out.
Jeepers Creepers directed and written by Victor Salva and starring: Gina Phillips and Justin Long.

I'm expecting a fan theory that the original filmmakers found the church and the cellar already filled with all the wood carvings and old tools that we see covered in spider webs, and they just set up the mass of bodies on the walls and ceiling with fake dummies.
But what the filmmakers didn't realize is that the Creeper is real and woke up from its hibernation shortly after the film's release. Not wanting any fans to visit the place and potentially find evidence of its existence, the Creeper burned the church down for real. Just like it did in the movie.

Great eye for detail and very informative. You're probably the only person to notice the tree's in the field where the creeper ran them off the road. 👍

Does anyone have a clue as to the locations where they filmed Jeepers Creepers 2? That one was the best one. I’m also just gonna pretend the 3rd one doesn’t exist
I thought it was somewhere in California? I don’t quite remember. Hopefully someone that knows answers :) you could also google Jeepers Creepers 2 filming locations and see what pops up
I'm not positive that it was the cat lady house... but I know that a part of Jeepers Creepers was filmed on a small stretch of state road 44 in Eustis, Florida... they had a section between (I think I'm saying these cross roads correctly) highway 44c and highway 437 closed off for filming, and from what I was told, it was an old house there that was torn down later, but there's still a barn...
Hmm interesting. My bf and I did some research and he’s convinced he found the house. We will go sometime and I’ll make a quick video about it

I definitely appreciate you showing these awesome areas of one of the very best movies of all time. I have watched this movie at least four times and would gladly watch it all over again. I never left my seat the whole time the show was on and it looks like I could remember every single part, but as I see it there are many more little parts that need to be explored. @@LeslieLove a horror convention in the Mid-Atlantic this September. The creeper was the only horror figure that gave me nightmares. It will be surreal speaking to the man behind the character. 😁

I'm not trying to be rude but you kept saying how bad it sucks that there was nothing left and in my head I'm like... WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S NOTHING LEFT WOMAN? I'M ACTUALLY SUPER EXCITED TO EVEN SEE THE DINERS PARKING LOT AND PAVEMENT WHERE THE GAS PUMPS STOOD DURING THE MOVIE and additionally it was so awesome to watch the tree which is still thriving and road where the movie was filmed! I'm like its all there besides the original buildings used but I mean you can use your imagination at least to see how cool it was to have been there after so many years!

County Road 484 is where most of the long drive scenes were filmed, in Dunnellon.

Justin lives in Western Massachusetts and Gina Phillips she was originally from Miami Florida..The old church burnt down not too long after filming, the old restaurant tried a couple different businesses but they all failed because of location the house where all the cats were that was torn down and also the meat packing plant was torn down by a developer now they have businesses there now..Florida is all sand plus when you start digging down deep everything turns to water.. I'm not even sure if that corrugated drain and hole was really on set they might have dug a hole with a backhoe and put that corrugated pipe down..As far as Justin walking through that room where all the bodies were that could have been shot on set somewhere else..The Jeepers Creepers truck has a 383 stroker motor in it that old truck will hit Top speeds of 70 to 80 mph..I believe from the beginning it started in Ocala Florida that is basically back in The Boondocks and then they went to two or three other locations by the time the movie was finished.. basically Jeepers Creepers the first one everything was filmed in Florida..Great Video I live not too far from there when they were filming they closed down both sides of the road in order to complete certain segments of the movie..#2&4-Okay-I love horror film the first one was the best#2 most of it was kids stranded on a school bus..Many a little bit of scary parts here and there..I only watch the first one now to check out Gina Phillips..🎉HOT🎉
